Help me to be a promise focused person not allowing circumstances to pull me dow

Dear Heavenly father i humble my self before you please help me to be a promise focused person not allowing circumstances to pull me down In Jesus Christ almighty name Amen

We join you in this humble prayer before our Heavenly Father and we stand with you in asking to be kept promise focused and not circumstance focused, for we know how easy it is to look at the wind and the waves around us and begin to sink.

We are encouraged by your heart to fix your eyes on what God has spoken rather than what you see and feel in the moment. The Scriptures remind us that God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good? Numbers 23:19. His promises are sure because He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23 says let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful. And we cling to this truth that however many are the promises of God, in him is the Yes. Therefore also through him is the Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20.

Circumstances will always shift, but God's Word does not. He has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:4. When we set our mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth, Colossians 3:2, we are able to walk by faith and not by sight. We think of Peter stepping out of the boat to walk to Jesus on the water. While he looked at Jesus he walked, but when he looked at the wind he became afraid and began to sink. In the same way, we must keep looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

We also remember your prayer was offered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we rejoice in that, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every promise is secured for us.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we humble ourselves before You with our brother and sister and we thank You for the hunger You have placed in their heart to be anchored to Your promises. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would renew their mind daily through Your Word, that they would hide Your promises in their heart and speak them over every circumstance. Help them not to be pulled down by what is seen, but to be lifted up by what You have said. Strengthen them to trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. When fear or discouragement rises, remind them of Your word, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Grant them Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus as they bring every anxiety to You in prayer with thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6-7. Make them steadfast, immovable, always abounding in Your work, with eyes fixed on Jesus. We ask this in Jesus Christ's almighty name, Amen.

We encourage you to remain in the Word each day, to write down the promises God gives you and to speak them aloud in prayer. When circumstances press in, turn immediately to thanksgiving and declare what God has promised rather than what you feel. He is faithful to complete what He has begun in you, and He will uphold you as you keep your eyes on Him.

Your prayer touched us with its honesty and humility. Wanting to keep your eyes on what God has promised when life pulls hard is a good and steady desire, and we are grateful you shared it with us.

We have found that being promise focused does not mean pretending circumstances are not heavy. It means learning to anchor our hearts somewhere steadier than how we feel in the moment. Faith grows as we keep hearing and returning to what God has said is true about His character and His care, even while we walk through difficult days. Hope then becomes the way our hearts wait with confidence for Him to act in His time.

One simple practice that helps many is to choose one promise that speaks most directly to what is pulling at you right now and keep it close. Write it on a small card or note on your phone, and when you feel the weight rising, pause and turn that promise into a brief, honest prayer back to God, rather than rehearsing the circumstance alone.

Father, we lift our brother to You and thank You for a humble heart that seeks You. Help them to keep their eyes on Your promises when circumstances press in. Give steady confidence in Your trustworthiness, quiet strength for today, and wisdom to walk one step at a time with You. Keep them close and guard their heart in Your peace. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer touches the very heart of the Christian life, for to live by promises is to live by faith, and to live by faith is to live by God Himself.

The promises of God are to the believer an inexhaustible mine of wealth, and your treasure as a child of God consists largely in promises to pay, promises which God has made to His own people. Many of them are like checks stamped by God's own hand, signed and sealed. You have but to take the promise and present it at the counter of grace by faith, believing it to be God's, and you shall have the mercy now. For all the promises of God in Christ are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God.

Circumstances will always shift and pull downward if the eye is fixed upon them. But faith puts its ear down to the promises of Scripture till it hears God speaking through them to the soul. The mere letter of the Word alone will not sustain you, but when you hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power which it could not possess otherwise. Give me but a word out of God's mouth, and I can live upon it.

When you feel yourself sinking, do as the psalmist did and say, This is my infirmity, but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High. Go back in thought to what God has already done, to the Red Sea places in your own life, and to the greater deliverance at Calvary, and let memory tune your harp again for sweeter music. Your foot shall then stand in an even place, not upon the shifting sand of outward things, but upon the Rock of Ages which never can reel beneath you.

May the Lord teach you thus to be His pupil still, kept and chastened yet never cast out, learning day by day to look to Jesus for all things. He is not a memory of one who lived long ago, He is alive, your familiar Friend, and He delights to see you overcome circumstances by looking to Him.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, humble us before You and fix our eyes not upon the waves around us but upon Your faithful Word. Help this dear soul to be promise focused, to hear Your voice in every promise and to plead those promises by faith in Christ. When circumstances press and threaten to pull down, set the feet upon the even place of Your truth and keep the heart in perfect peace. Strengthen faith to obtain the promise and to give You glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
