We understand that you are seeking prayer for a successful interview process, and we are here to support you in this endeavor. Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your requests. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In all things, we should seek God's will and trust in His timing.
Psalm 37:23-24 WEB: A man's goings are established by Yahweh and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he will not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh upholds him with His hand.
We also have His assurance:
1 Peter 5:7 WEB: casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. We pray for Your will to be done in their life.
Lord, in Your grace and wisdom, open the right door for their next job. If it is Your will, let the recruiter forward their CV to the hiring manager, and guide them through the interview process. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and provision.
We ask for God's guidance if this is not the job that He has planned.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this waiting period. Help them to lean on You and draw closer to You during this time.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In times of waiting, it's important to strengthen one's relationship with God, and to read and study scripture. A job is a wonderful goal, and God is capable of providing that, but also God will not be lacking if His plan for you is different. You have an opportunity to be a witness for Christ as you interact with others.
