Thank You that we DO have hope, only because You are alive and You care for us! I rebuke all depressive spirits over this guest now. May he invite Your Holy Spirit to be with him. (Put on worship and praise music. It's so important what we listen to! It changes the atmosphere around us.) Oh Lord, may this person thank You for all You have done so far in their journey.We agree for peace and thankfulness now. Thank You that You are faithful, and we are NOT forgotten, even if our emotions tell us differently.

ROMANS 12:1
A HEART GIVEN FULLY TO GOD
IS AT THE HEART OF TRUE SACRIFICE.
If there is one verse in the Bible that sets me on my heels, it is Romans 12:1.
It serves as my best gauge and ruler in showing me how far short I fall of the perfect standard set by our Lord and Savior. It leaves me with two choices and the one I will never accept. I can either give up and quit, which is totally foreign because of my love for Christ, or I can realize my imperfect condition and continue praying for His help to make me a better Christian and servant than I presently am.
How much I love Him, and how much it troubles my soul that I still feel so unworthy. I cannot accept the general feeling of many, "I'm not perfect, just forgiven". If we have faith then we will want to work for the Lord. Faith and works...they must be a part of us...you can't have one without the other.
From Romans 12:1 I get a strong spiritual sense of what James meant when he wrote:
"What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith, but does not have works? Can faith save him?"

withouthope - You are a child of the living God. He has a plan for your life. He designed you and breathed life into you. He knows every hair on your head and every cell in your body. He knows your heart and your spirit. Seek him with all your might. Trust in him.
It's not about us...... it is about the kingdom of God.
Lord Jesus, I ask for your hand of mercy and grace to wash over my brother and set him free from the chains of depression and sadness. I ask that you be with him today to lead, guide and direct his path, to show him the true way and your will for his life. Send him a mentor to help him through, to encourage him in his faith and to be an example that he could follow. Bless my brother, Lord. Let him find encouragement here with the prayer warriors and I pray that his spirit be lifted and the that his heart would find peace in knowing you are with him. THank you Lord. Amen
