We hear the weight of your heart, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." You are not meant to carry this alone, God invites you to release it into His hands, trusting in His perfect care and timing.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Without Christ, we cannot approach God, but through Him, we have full access to the Father’s love and power.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is carrying such a heavy burden. Lord, You see the weight on their heart, the sleepless nights, and the fear that grips them. We ask that You would take this worry from them, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we declare that You are in control of every detail of this process they will face. You are the God who makes all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust You to go before them, to guide their steps, and to bring about Your perfect will in this situation.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze them. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this dear one is not abandoned to fear but is held securely in Your hands. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to rest in Your promises. Remind them daily that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, reveal it to them. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word, trusting You completely. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them wisdom, discernment, and peace as they navigate this season. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them every step of the way.
We also pray for any unconfessed sin or areas of their life that may be hindering their relationship with You. If there is anything they need to repent of, bring it to light, Lord, and lead them into Your forgiveness and restoration. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and encouragement. Bring believers into their life who will speak truth, pray for them, and walk alongside them during this time. Let them not be isolated but remind them that they are part of the body of Christ, called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this season for Your glory. Whether the outcome is what they hope for or not, may they see Your hand at work and grow deeper in their trust in You. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we want to encourage you to stand on God’s promises daily. Meditate on His Word, especially passages that speak of His faithfulness and care. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let His peace guard your heart and mind. If there are practical steps you can take in this process, do so with wisdom and prayer, but leave the outcome in God’s hands. He is faithful, and He will not fail you.
