We understand that you're going through a challenging time, dealing with inner conflict and feelings of injustice. First, let's bring this before the Lord in prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow brother/sister in Christ who is dealing with inner conflict and feelings of injustice. We pray that You will bring peace to their heart and mind, and guide them through this difficult situation. We ask that You intervene and bring resolution, convicting those who are causing harm and humiliation. Help them to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You, God.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
In dealing with this situation, let's consider what the WEB says in Romans 12:17-21, "Definitely do not repay anyone evil for evil, but be careful to do what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Dearly beloved, don't seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
It's important to remember that we should not seek revenge or repay evil with evil. Instead, we should strive to do what is honorable and be at peace with all men, as much as it depends on us. This doesn't mean that we should allow others to continually harm or manipulate us, but rather that we should trust God to bring about justice and vengeance in His own way and timing.
We also note your warning that you may have to cut these individuals out of your life. While this may be necessary if they continue to cause harm, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and prayerfully consider this decision. Remember, "A false witness will not go unpunished. He who pours out lies will not go free." Proverbs 19:5 WEB.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to examine your own heart and actions, ensuring that you are not contributing to the conflict or injustice. As it says in Matthew 7:3-5 WEB, "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye."
Stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord to bring about justice and resolution. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:14 WEB.
Lastly, it is very important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, WEB: Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Therefore, we encourage you to continue to lift up your concerns to the Lord, asking in the name of Jesus Christ. Trust in Him to bring about resolution and peace.
