Please pray and help me and my son. All our savings 15000 € were scammed. We do not have money to live sufficiently this month. Now the scammer has contacted us and promises to send us 1000 € money back. Please pray that he would return all our money or the police would act very fast to catch him and we would get the money back. We are desperate. Thank you

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your situation with deep compassion. The pain of being deceived and the fear of financial hardship are burdens no one should have to carry alone. We stand with you in this trial, believing that God sees your struggle and hears your cry. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Even in this moment of desperation, we declare that the Lord is your provider and your deliverer.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and theft that has stolen from you. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that the Lord would expose this scammer and bring him to justice swiftly. Proverbs 11:21 says, "Though hand join in hand, the evil man will not be unpunished; but the seed of the righteous will be delivered." Let this be a testimony of God’s justice in your life. We also pray that if this offer of partial repayment is genuine, the Lord would move upon the scammer’s heart to restore what was taken in full. However, we caution you to guard your heart against false hope or further deception. Proverbs 22:3 warns, "A prudent man sees danger and hides himself, but the simple pass on and suffer for it."

We pray for provision over your household in this time of need. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask the Lord to open doors of opportunity for you and your son, whether through work, community support, or unexpected blessings. We also encourage you to seek wisdom from your local church or trusted believers who may be able to offer practical help or guidance. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

Above all, we pray that you and your son would draw closer to the Lord in this season. Financial loss can shake our trust, but God remains faithful. Psalm 62:8 reminds us, "Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us." May you find peace in His presence and strength in His promises. We also want to gently ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your mercy and provision. We declare that You are their source and their strength. Expose the works of darkness and restore what has been stolen. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Comfort their hearts and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, Lord, and let Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Please be very cautious: the scammer’s new promise to send back 1,000 € may be another trap. We’ve seen criminals use “refund” offers to gain bank details or pressure their victims into paying fake fees. Before you accept anything, reach out to the police again and let them guide you. You’ve already done the brave thing by reporting it; keep them in the loop.

While you wait for justice, we’d gently encourage you to lean into your local church community or a nearby food pantry for immediate help, enough to bridge this month’s groceries. It’s humbling, but you don’t have to carry this alone. The body of Christ is meant to gather around those who are reeling, and your son needs to see that it’s okay to receive care when you’re on empty.

Lord Jesus, you see this mother and her son, frightened and without enough. Wrap them in your steady peace right now. Give them clear wisdom about every interaction with the one who stole from them, and protect them from further harm. Move the police to act quickly and justly, and open doors for what they need today, food, shelter, a little breathing room. Hold their son’s heart gently, and let hope flicker again in their home. In your name we ask, amen.

The depths of your calamity are plain, and your heart is wrung with anguish over the stolen provision. You are in a desperate case, and it is well that you should feel it so, for then you are driven to the only source of true help. Yet let me warn you at once, do not lean the weight of a feather upon that deceiver’s promise to return a thousand euros. To look to him is to go down to Egypt for help, to trust in a broken reed that will pierce your hand. He is a liar and the father of it, and his fair words are but a fresh snare to delay you or ensnare you further. You cry for the police to act swiftly, and indeed they may be used of God as instruments of justice, but if the Lord does not help you, where can you find help? From the threshing floor or from the winepress? Every honest man must say to you, “If the Lord does not help you, how can I help you?”

Now is the time for a desperate faith. Cast yourself and your son upon the Lord with a holy violence, grasping the posts of mercy’s door as though you would pluck them up sooner than remain shut out from His pity. Pray not with a polite whisper but with the cry of one drowning, “Lord, save us! We perish!” He is kind to the unthankful and the evil; He looks not for goodness on your part but upon your sin, your degradation, your grinding need. Tell Him your purse is empty and your cupboard bare. Tell Him the enemy has ripped away the labor of your hands. And then remember that your greatest need is not the recovery of silver and gold, but the restoring of your soul to perfect trust in Him who never yet forsook the children of the poor.

Search your heart, lest there be some sin lodged there which you have harbored to your soul’s peril, an undue trust in riches, a prayerless spirit in days of plenty, or a bitterness now rising against the Providence that permits this trial. Confess it all, and then hear the Master say, “They need not depart; you give them something to eat.” He knows your necessity before you ask. The devil may rage and the wicked may prosper for a moment, but the Lord sits upon the flood, yea, He sits King forever. Keep your eyes not on the scammer nor on the slow wheels of human justice, but on Jesus Christ, who is a shield and help at this very hour. Cry mightily to Him, and then, in quietness and confidence, wait for His deliverance. He will not fail you.

The money you lost has become a thick cloud over your eyes, the love of it gathering like an evil humor until you cannot see clearly. You cry out for the return of ### or ### euros, as though a thief’s lying promise could be your deliverance. But consider: the same hand that took your ### now dangles a crumb, and your heart leaps toward it. Why? Because desperation has made you willing to trust the one who ruined you. Do not be blinded by this wicked desire. The money is gone; let it perish, but save your soul. What will it profit you if you recover a little silver and lose your peace with God?

Do not say, “What need have I of prayer if I am alert myself?” For it is precisely because you think you have no need that you need it most. Even Paul relied on the prayers of the Church, and here you are in a wilderness, asking how these loaves can feed you. The Lord permitted this trial not to cast you into the hands of scammers but to bring you to the urgent need of entreating Him. Cry out to God with your whole heart, and do not wait for the police or the thief’s mercy. Lift up your voice, not with money but with the purpose of a broken spirit. That widow who gave two mites purchased heaven because she gave everything; you can give your desperation, and it will rise like incense.

I urge you, therefore, to cease from this savage practice of counting on the thief’s crumbs. If you but give your will to God, all is done. There is no need to travel far or spend what you do not have. Put a bridle on your tongue from unseasonable reproaches against providence. Cast out the desire of wealth that gnaws at your soul. Show mercy to your own soul by refusing to grovel before the one who wronged you. And let the Church pray for you, but know this: their prayers profit nothing if you sleep. Wake up! The cloud will not lift while you stare at the money. Wash in the pool of repentance, obey without questioning, and trust that He who put clay on the blind man’s eyes knows how to restore sight. You may not understand how deliverance will come, but He who fed thousands in the desert will not let you perish if you look to Him. Pray, and stay alert. The Kingdom is not bought with ### euros, but with a heart that says, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
