Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life, breaking the chains of pornography, masturbation, and sexual sin. Your heartfelt cries and prayers have not gone unheard, and we give all glory to Jesus Christ for the victory He has begun in you. The fact that you desire lasting change for His glory is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work within you, and we stand with you in this battle, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The sins you mention, pornography, masturbation, and flirting outside the bounds of godly courtship, are not merely personal struggles but offenses against God’s holy design for sexuality. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality defiles the body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Flirting, when it stirs lust or leads to emotional or physical unfaithfulness, is a form of temptation that can easily entangle the heart (Proverbs 4:23). We must not treat these sins lightly, for they grieve the Lord and hinder our walk with Him. But we also know that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20), and there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

Your request for deliverance and renewal is aligned with God’s will. The Lord desires to set you free completely, not just temporarily. True freedom comes when we surrender every area of our lives to Christ, allowing Him to transform our minds and hearts. The apostle Paul writes, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2). This transformation is not a one-time event but a daily process of dying to self and living for Christ.

We must also address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about physical temptation but about deeper issues of the heart, loneliness, idolatry, or a desire for validation outside of Christ. Ask the Lord to search your heart and reveal any areas where you may be seeking fulfillment in things other than Him (Psalm 139:23-24). True freedom comes when Christ is our greatest treasure, and when we find our satisfaction in Him alone (Psalm 73:25-26).

Practical steps are also necessary in this battle. Flee from temptation, do not entertain it, do not linger in places (physically or online) where you are vulnerable, and do not rely on your own strength. The Bible says, "Flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18) and "Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation" (Matthew 26:41). Accountability is crucial. Seek out a trusted, godly believer, preferably someone of the same sex, with whom you can be honest about your struggles. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). If you do not have such a person in your life, ask the Lord to provide one.

We also encourage you to fill your mind and heart with God’s Word. Memorize scriptures that speak to purity and renewal, such as Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me," or 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." The more you meditate on God’s truth, the less room there will be for the lies of the enemy.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this dear one’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which have brought them this far. But we know the battle is not yet over, and we ask that You would complete the work You have started. Father, we pray for lasting deliverance from every form of sexual sin, pornography, masturbation, and ungodly flirting. Cleanse their heart, mind, and body, and make them holy as You are holy (1 Peter 1:16).

Lord, we ask that You would renew their mind daily, transforming them by the power of Your Word and Your Spirit. Give them wisdom to recognize temptation and the strength to flee from it. Surround them with godly accountability and fellowship, so they are not left to fight this battle alone. Father, reveal to them any areas of their heart where they may be seeking fulfillment outside of You, and draw them closer to Christ, that He may be their greatest joy and satisfaction.

We pray against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. In the name of Jesus, we break every chain of addiction, every lie that says they cannot be free, and every stronghold that has taken root in their mind. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in purity and righteousness. Give them a deep hunger for Your Word and a passion to live for Your glory. May their life be a testimony to Your transforming power, drawing others to You. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear one. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. Every time you choose to turn away from sin and toward Christ, you are growing stronger in Him. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap, if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep crying out to Him, keep seeking His face, and keep trusting in His promises. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Thank you for being so open. We can hear both the relief in your words and the depth of your desire to leave these sins behind for good. It is no small thing that you have already seen great improvement, that is real progress, and we give thanks for it alongside you.

Because you asked that God would help you do whatever it takes, we want to mention something that often becomes part of that lasting change. Many have discovered that deepening their walk into consistent, concrete accountability makes a profound difference. This might look like joining a confidential men's (or women's) support group, installing software that sends your online history to a trusted friend, or simply asking someone you respect to meet weekly to pray and speak honestly. Those steps are not a replacement for God’s work, but they are a way of positioning your life so that renewal can take hold.

We also hear how much you have wept and how earnestly you have prayed. God has drawn very close to you in those moments. We join you now in asking for His mind-renewing work, His wisdom, and the complete deliverance you long for.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the progress this one has already known. We ask that You would press that change all the way down, making it deep and permanent. Renew every corner of the mind, replace the old patterns with a steady love for what is pure, and guide them to the concrete help and relationships that will guard this freedom. Let each day be a step further from the old life and closer to You, for Your glory. Amen.

Your cries have entered the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and it gladdens my heart that you ascribe the improvement already seen to Christ alone. Never forget this: deliverance from sin’s guilt and from sin’s power are both works of God. Where you look for justification, there you must look for sanctification. Hold fast to the truth that it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. The same supernatural grace that drew you from the pit must daily renew your mind and cause these sins to be abhorrent.

Yet take care that you do not grow careless because you have tasted a measure of liberty. Sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Keep yourself unspotted from the world’s puddles; do not toy with the first glances that lead to lust. That sin which you now mourn may soon entangle you again unless you watch unto prayer. But do not let this warning sink you into despair, rather, let it drive you closer to Christ. When your conscience smites you, go at once to the cross, recount the terrors that fell upon the Son of God when He was made a curse for us, and let that sight slay your passion. Grief over sin is not punishment from a judge, but chastisement from a Father who would cure you by making the sin bring sorrow.

Every time you fall, if you walk in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth from all sin. Confess it, look again to the Ransom found on Calvary, and the sense of pardon will renew your gratitude. Then your heart shall say, ā€œI will not go on in this sin.ā€ I join with you in praying that the Lord will show you mercy, speak peace to your soul, and give you understanding to do whatever it takes, cutting off occasions of evil, filling your mind with holy things, and crowning your watchfulness with lasting and true victory. Faith lifts your head and declares, ā€œI shall not die, but live.ā€ The Lord who began this work will complete it, and He shall have all the glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have seen the Lord's mercy in beginning to break the chains of lust, and for this we give all glory to Jesus Christ. But do not imagine the battle is over because the enemy retreats for a moment. The corruption of sin works a twofold ruin: it casts you out of God’s service, making you a slave to what you should command, and it darkens the mind in the most intense degree. Every lingering glance, every thought allowed to linger, is a root of corruption that will spring up again if not plucked out by the spirit of the mind.

This is not a matter of outward avoidance only, but of inward renewal. As the body grows old and decays, so the soul when sin enters grows hideous, sick, and diseased. The beauty of the soul is temperance and righteousness, and its health is courage and prudence. But sexual sin is not merely a sickness; it is a corruption that renders the soul an easy prey to that undying worm. Do not rest content because the fever has abated; seek the complete change wherein the old man, with his lusts, is put off entirely, and the new man is put on in purity and true holiness. This renewal comes not by your own strength, but by the Spirit who will not endure old deeds. Crucify your evil thoughts; make yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Worship Him not with outward tears only, but in spirit and truth, for the incorporeal God must be served by the incorporeal part of us, the mind, the soul.

You cry out for lasting deliverance, and rightly so. But hear: He who elected you is faithful, and who can lay a charge against God’s elect? Yet election is no pillow for sloth. He who has called you to purity will perfect it if you continually turn to Him with a resolute will. Be not like one who sees the mote in another while neglecting the beam in his own eye; your own heart is the field of battle. Examine it ruthlessly. Tear out every hidden affection for the sin that once held you captive. The barbarian who would have sinned with another man’s wife was restrained by a word from God; how much more will He speak to you, if you listen, and show you the way of escape.

Rejoice in the victory already given, but let that joy make you sober and watchful. Be comforted, be perfected, live in peace with a conscience cleansed. The God of love and peace will be with you as you walk in uncorruptness, treasuring up not earthly pleasures but the incorruptible crown. Do whatever it takes: cut off the hand, pluck out the eye, flee every occasion that feeds the flame. Let your tears water the soil of repentance, but let your resolve bear fruit worthy of amendment. The same Lord who spared you from sinning against Him when you were blind will now, if you abide in earnest prayer and holy striving, speak deliverance into the depths of your soul and make you wise unto salvation, far from these sins forever, to the glory of His Name.
