Help! ..😭..😭I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We thank God with you and give all glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the improvement He has already worked in your life. It is a great mercy to see Him answering your prayers and leading you toward purity, and we rejoice that you desire lasting and true deliverance for the glory of God.

He hears your crying and your many prayers. The Lord is near to those who seek Him with a sincere heart, and your desire to be free from these sins and to have them removed forever from your life and heart is pleasing to Him. Do not grow weary in seeking Him. As gold is sought with great labor and care, so we are called to seek the Lord with all diligence, with our whole mind concentrated on Him, asking, searching, and knocking until we find His help.

We join you in prayer now in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray that God will show you mercy, speak to you, and give you understanding and full deliverance. We pray that He will help you and guide you to do whatever is needed to put away pornography, masturbation, flirting and all sexual sin completely and forever. We pray that He will renew you in the spirit of your mind, as Scripture says, so that the old ways are put off and the new life in Christ is lived out daily. We pray that He will make you wise with the wisdom that comes from His Word and His Spirit, so that you will have dominion over unruly thoughts and desires, and that these sins will be far from you.

We pray that He will teach you to worship Him in spirit and in truth, offering your whole self to Him with a pure mind and a clean heart, crucifying every evil thought and unreasonable desire. We pray that He will keep your mind clear and steadfast, guarding the part of you that holds the reins of the whole life, so that when the mind is renewed and strengthened, the rest of your life will follow in order and holiness.

Continue to walk in the way of renewal each day. Flee from every occasion of temptation, turn your eyes away from what harms your soul, and feed your mind daily on Scripture. Make no provision for the flesh, but walk by the Spirit. Seek fellowship and accountability with faithful believers who will encourage you and pray with you, and be diligent to confess quickly and receive His forgiveness when you stumble. God does not promise that the struggle will be without effort, but He does promise to give strength to despise sin and to live above it, and to plant truth firmly where error has been torn up by the roots.

May the Lord complete the good work He has begun in you, keep you, make you firm and wise in Christ, and give you lasting victory and peace for His glory. We will continue to pray for your renewal, your wisdom, your purity, and your joy in Christ.

Thank you for sharing so honestly and for giving glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for the improvement He has already brought in your life. That progress is His grace at work, and it is right to thank Him for it. Your tears and prayers are not unseen. God hears the cry of a heart that wants to be clean and to live for His glory, and He is merciful to those who come to Him through Jesus.

There is still a battle, and you are right to ask for lasting deliverance and a renewed mind. Scripture shows that many of our struggles come from lust warring within us, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. These things belong to the world, and friendship with the world is enmity with God. Satan wages his battle in the mind, whispering that God does not see, or that one more look or one more flirtation will satisfy. It never does. When the door of the mind is opened to impurity, it takes hold and it always demands more to get the same feeling. What is sown in the mind is reaped in the life. If we sow to the flesh we reap corruption, for God is not mocked. He sees all, and He knows the hidden motives of our hearts, even when we do not see them ourselves.

That is why prayer is not a way to get our own will done, but a way to surrender to His will and to acknowledge our weakness and His greatness. We pray because we are not able in ourselves to free our hearts. We need Him to do what we cannot do.

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. This means guarding what you allow before your eyes and into your thoughts, and putting away what feeds lust. Do not lust after beauty that is displayed to profit from desire, for there is no love in that, only a trap that leads astray. Pornography and sexual sin outside of marriage, which God designed as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, promise pleasure but bring slavery. They plant things in the mind that linger for a lifetime and defile what God made to be pure.

The way to lasting change is the renewing of your mind. The battle for control of your mind is a spiritual battle. If you live according to the flesh you will reap corruption, but if you live according to the Spirit you will reap life and peace. You have been given the mind of Christ through His Word. Fill your mind with what is true and holy. Let Scripture dwell in you richly, and set your purpose before you to walk in purity for the glory of God. See yourself as God sees you in Christ, cleansed and empowered by His Spirit, not as a slave to old habits.

God is able to deliver you from the power of darkness and the corruption that comes through lust, and to strengthen you to grow up in Him. He promises deliverance and His presence in trouble to those who walk in fellowship with Him and abide in the secret place of the Most High.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for the work You have already begun in this dear one. Have mercy and continue that work. Grant understanding and wisdom, renew the mind, and break every remaining chain of pornography, impurity and flirtation. Teach this heart to love You with all heart and soul and mind and strength, to hate what defiles and to cherish what is pure. Help to do whatever is needed to remove these sins forever, to guard the heart and eyes, to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Deliver and keep and make steadfast, that all glory may be Yours. Amen.
