Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and your recognition of Jesus Christ as the source of glory and mercy is a powerful testimony of His grace at work. The battle against sexual sin, pornography, masturbation, and flirtation outside the bounds of godly marriage, is fierce, but we stand with you in prayer, believing that the same God who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The Scriptures are clear that these struggles are not merely personal failings but spiritual battles. Jesus warned, "Everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). The apostle Paul exhorted, "Flee sexual immorality! ā€˜Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). These sins distort God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). Yet we also know that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Your desire for lasting victory is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s conviction. True freedom comes not through willpower alone but through the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2) and the transforming power of Christ. We must address the root of these sins, whether it be loneliness, idleness, unmet emotional needs, or the deception that these acts are harmless. The enemy seeks to ensnare, but "the Son makes you free, and you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). This freedom requires radical measures: accountability with trusted believers, removing access to temptation, filling your mind with Scripture, and replacing sinful habits with godly ones (Psalm 119:9-11).

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in [this brother/sister’s] life. You have heard their cries, and You are faithful to deliver. We ask that You would complete the work You have begun. Break every chain of addiction, lust, and sin that seeks to entangle. Renew their mind by Your Word, and let the truth of Your love and holiness fill every thought. Father, grant them wisdom to recognize and flee temptation, and surround them with godly accountability. Fill the voids in their heart with Your presence, for You alone satisfy (Psalm 107:9). We rebuke the enemy’s lies that tell them they cannot overcome, greater are You who are in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Strengthen them to walk in purity, not by their own strength, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit. May their life bring glory to You alone, and may they experience the fullness of freedom that Christ died to give. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to take practical steps:
1. Immerse yourself in Scripture daily, especially passages about purity (e.g., Psalm 51, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7).
2. Find a trusted, mature believer to confide in and hold you accountable, do not fight this battle alone (James 5:16).
3. Remove stumbling blocks, install filters on devices, avoid environments where temptation thrives, and flee from situations that lead to sin (2 Timothy 2:22).
4. Replace sinful habits with godly ones, prayer, worship, serving others, and studying God’s Word will crowd out the old patterns.
5. Remember your identity in Christ, you are not defined by your struggles but by His victory (2 Corinthians 5:17).

The road to lasting freedom is a journey, but it is one you do not walk alone. The Lord is your strength, and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Keep pressing into Him, for He who calls you is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). To God be all the glory!

We’re so grateful to hear how the Lord has already strengthened you and brought real change, that’s a work only He can do, and we give Him all the glory with you. We know those prayers and tears came from a heart that deeply desires to honor Him, and we want to stand with you in this next stretch of the journey.

You’ve asked God to show you whatever it takes. Sometimes His answer includes not only private prayer but also practical, steady support. Many who’ve walked this path have found that bringing their struggle into the light with a trustworthy, mature believer, a mentor, an accountability partner, or a Christian support group, weakens the grip of secrecy and shame. That kind of honest, ongoing connection can be a lifeline when willpower alone isn’t enough. If that feels like a big step, even a small one like finding a confidential online group or a pastor you can be real with can make a difference.

Your desire to be completely free for God’s glory is evidence that He is already at work, and He is faithful to continue. Don’t lose heart over what remains, each honest battle is part of a deeper surrender. We’re praying for a renewed mind, wise boundaries, and the gentle yet thorough deliverance you long for.

Lord Jesus, thank You for the victory already won. Grant our friend the courage to take practical steps toward lasting freedom, and surround them with the right people to walk alongside. Renew their thoughts daily, quiet the pull of temptation, and fill them with a deeper love for You. In Your mighty name, amen.

The devil is never so dangerous as when he appears to retreat. You have cried unto the Lord, and He has granted you a measure of deliverance, for this we give all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet you are wise to tremble while you stand, for the victory is not yet fully won. The sin that remains in us will ever seek to drag us down, and it is not for your safety that you should be weak. Blessed is that man who is strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Pray therefore without ceasing, "Lead us not into temptation." The man who prays this and then ventures willfully into the path of sin is a liar before God, but the soul that fears itself and clings to the cross shall find grace sufficient.

It is a great thing to know what a sour apple sin is, and to feel heartache because of its exceeding bitterness. Yet do not think that the mere sorrow of tears is the end of the matter. Sin must be overcome, and it is overcome only by looking unto Jesus. When, assailed by temptation, we say, "How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?" this is true worship. Keep yourselves unspotted from the world's puddles; flee from every enticement as from a serpent. God, in no sense, leads men into temptation so as to share blame for their fall, but He may withdraw the sensible comfort of His grace to teach us dependence. Cry out to Him then, that He would renew your mind and make you very wise, for deliverance from sin is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.

The Lord Himself must bring you forth from this slavery. You have felt the chains and wept over them; now trust the delivering hand. There is a ransom, a full, rich, eternal ransom, in the blood of Jesus Christ. Look to Him, and hear Him say, "Go, and sin no more." That word carries the power to obey. Your union with Christ, if it be genuine, is a living, loving, lasting union. He will not suffer His members to be cut away by the sword of perpetual lust or the surgery of despair. Take hold of this hope: He that has begun a good work in you will perform it. Fight on, praying always, and when the enemy whispers that your sin is too great, answer him with the blood of the Lamb. I have found a ransom, saith the Lord. Therefore, sinner, do not doubt your deliverance.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The tears you have shed and the improvement you see are not small things. They are the stirring of God’s mercy working within you, for a heart that weeps over its sins is a heart that has not been abandoned to a reprobate mind. When Paul speaks of those given over to do what is not convenient, he traces the root, not to the flesh alone, but to the mind that refused to retain God in its knowledge. Your anguish shows your mind is turning, seeking, refusing to let go of God. That is the beginning of true renewal.

But understand this clearly: the battle is not merely to stop outward acts. The command is to be renewed in the spirit of your mind. A mind given over to these lusts, even when the body is restrained, remains a slave to lifeless passions. That is why you feel the pull still. The old images, the flirting, the fantasies, these are youthful lusts that must be fled, not merely resisted while standing still. To be of the same mind and live in peace with God requires you to starve that old man and feed the new. Do not toy with the boundary. If the eye is a snare, refuse to look. If a thought rises, cut it down immediately with prayer and the sword of Scripture. You ask what it will take? It will take the same labor a man uses to find lost gold. Do you not see how men sacrifice sleep, money, and comfort to dig for perishing wealth? Will you do less for a pure heart? Seek His face with that same intensity, by night, with hands stretched out, crying, ā€œI will not let You go unless You bless me!ā€

The gain He sets before you is this: deliverance from a double slavery. These sins not only darken the mind and arm robbers against your peace, but they cast you out of God’s service, making you a captive of base things. What a loss, to exchange the mastery over passions for the chains of a moment’s pleasure! But the God of love and peace delights to see you fight. He is not a harsh master demanding repayment of a hundred pence after He has forgiven ten thousand talents. He sees your struggle, and He has compassion on the multitude of your wounds. He will not send you away fasting, lest you faint along the way. Yet His grace does not excuse your laziness; it empowers your effort. Write His commands upon your heart as upon a tablet. When the devil, that unclean spirit, sees the King’s writing stamped there by the Holy Spirit, he cannot even look upon it but turns his back from afar. So fill your mind so thoroughly with psalms, with holy reading, with the remembrance of judgment and mercy, that no empty space remains for the old filth to creep back in.

Do not think of this as a life of constant white-knuckled restraint. The harlots who entered the Kingdom did not do so while still practicing their trade; they believed, were purified, and converted. The change in the accidental, as Paul says, is thorough. The selfsame soul that was old becomes new. That is God’s work, yes, renewing your mind, making you wise, but He works it through your relentless pursuit. The moment you cease the flight from youthful lusts and cease the pursuit of righteousness, faith, and peace, that moment you begin to sink. So remain in the company of the Apostle, at the table of sound teaching. Let the spiritual remedy work its power, which is far greater than any brute force, because it is the might of the Spirit. If you stumble, rise again at once. If you fall, let your tears be immediate. But above all, do not despair. Despair is the devil’s triumph. The very fact that you have cried out with such pain is proof that the Spirit is wrestling within you against the disorder. Continue that holy violence. God will not be slow to answer the one who seeks Him with a heart broken and a mind determined to retain Him at any cost. Let us therefore hold fast to the grace He has given, press forward for the glory He promises, and trust that He who began this good work will carry it to completion. Cling to Christ alone, He is your deliverance, your wisdom, and your peace.

What a testimony to the grace of Jesus Christ! The improvement you have seen is real, and I join you in giving glory to Him alone. He has begun a good work, and He will be faithful to complete it. Do not be discouraged that there is still a battle. Your tears and prayers have been heard, and your desire for lasting purity is itself evidence that the Holy Spirit is at work within you.

One of the most freeing truths we can grasp is that the struggle itself is not a sign that we are lost. The very fact that you hate these sins and long to be free shows that your mind, your inner being, is set on serving God. The apostle Paul described this same war: with the mind he served the law of God, even while he felt another power pulling at his body. And yet, right in the middle of that agony, he cried out, ā€œWho will deliver me?ā€ and immediately answered with the shout of victory: ā€œThere is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.ā€ That is your ground today. Your sins do not define you; Christ does.

What you are learning is that sin is far deeper than outward actions. You have discovered that the very lust, the strong desire, is itself a violation of God’s law. That can feel overwhelming, as if the problem is too massive to handle. But hear this: the purpose of that discovery is not to crush you in shame but to drive you out of your own resources and into full dependence on Him. The law exposes the disease so that you will cling to the cure. And the cure is a Person, Jesus Christ, who became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Right now, you are experiencing a fresh taste of the promise that sin shall not have dominion over you. Not because you are perfect, but because you are no longer under law but under grace. Grace is not a license to sin; it is the power to say no. Think of it this way: the old man, that old self ruled by sinful passions, was crucified with Christ. The purpose of that death was to render the body of sin powerless, to put it out of business. A dead man cannot be tempted. When pornography flashes its lie or flirtation offers its fake comfort, you can reckon yourself dead to that. You can say, ā€œThat belongs to a corpse. I am alive to God in Christ.ā€ This is not mental trickery; it is spiritual reality. By faith, you take hold of what Jesus has already accomplished.

Of course, the battle will still be waged in your mind. The mind is the arena. Set your mind on the things of the Spirit, and you will find life and peace. When the mind is governed by the flesh, it leads to death and rebellion. So you pray for a renewed mind, and that is exactly what God promises. His Word washes our thinking clean. As you saturate your thoughts with Scripture, the lies that fuel lust lose their grip. You begin to desire what God desires, and the cheap counterfeits grow ugly in your eyes. This is the path of true wisdom. It is a daily turning away from the garbage and turning toward the beauty of Christ.

Do not be shocked when the temptation returns. Its presence does not mean you have failed. What matters is where you turn in that moment. Run to your Advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins. When you stumble, confess it at once, receive His forgiveness, and rise again. Do not let the enemy bury you under condemnation. God already condemned sin in the flesh of His Son, so that requirement is fully met. Your job is to walk in the freedom Jesus bought.

I want you to see the pattern that Scripture warns about: sensuality always leads to deeper bondage and destruction. Pornography opens a door, stirs passions that then push toward greater immorality. But you are being called out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You have passed through the waters in a picture of death to that old life. Now you must purge out the old leaven. Be ruthless with anything that triggers these sins, not out of fear, but out of a holy hatred of what once held you. You are not denying yourself; you are choosing the freedom not to have to do these things. That is real liberty.

The cry of your heart, ā€œGod, show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance,ā€ is the prayer of a child who knows his Father. And like David, you have come to see that sin is ultimately against God alone. Only He can forgive, and when He forgives, He covers the stain and restores joy. That joy will be your strength. As you continue to look at Jesus lifted up, you see your sin judged and its power broken. The serpent of brass could not poison those who fixed their eyes on God’s provision. So fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

I am praying with you that the Holy Spirit will complete this work of deliverance. Keep walking in the light. Do not pretend the old nature is gone, but do not let it reign. You are not its slave. Your mind, your heart, can serve God right now, even while the flesh clamors. And day by day, as you reckon yourself dead and yield your members to righteousness, the clamor will grow fainter and the peace of Christ will rule in your heart. The victory is His, and in Him, it is already yours. Stand firm in that grace.
