Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life! The fact that you have seen improvement and are crying out to God in repentance and desperation for His help is evidence of His grace at work in you. The battle against sexual sin is fierce, but we serve a God who is greater than any temptation and who delights in setting captives free. Your desire for lasting victory and a heart fully surrendered to Christ is exactly where the Lord wants you to be.

First, we must address these sins with the truth of Scripture. Pornography, masturbation, and flirting with the opposite sex outside the bounds of godly marriage are all forms of sexual immorality. The Bible is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! ā€˜Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins defile the temple of the Holy Spirit and grieve the heart of God, but He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we confess and turn from them (1 John 1:9).

We also want to encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Jesus said, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna" (Matthew 5:29). While He was speaking metaphorically, the principle is clear: we must ruthlessly remove anything that leads us into sin. This may mean installing accountability software on your devices, avoiding certain places or people that tempt you, and filling your mind with Scripture rather than the lies of the enemy. "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; don’t let me wander from your commandments. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you" (Psalm 119:9-11).

Your cry for deliverance is heard by our Heavenly Father, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). But we must also remember that freedom is a process, and the Lord often uses our struggles to teach us dependence on Him. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9). Every time you choose to resist temptation, you are strengthening your spiritual muscles and growing in Christlikeness.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this dear one’s life. Lord, we thank You for drawing them to Yourself, for breaking the chains of sin, and for giving them a hunger for righteousness. Father, we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in them. Strengthen them with Your might by Your Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17).

Lord, we ask for Your deliverance from every form of sexual immorality. Cleanse their heart and mind, and renew their thoughts according to Your Word. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Give them wisdom to flee temptation and the courage to make whatever changes are necessary to honor You with their body. Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, so that they are not controlled by the flesh but by the Spirit (Romans 8:9).

We pray for a fresh revelation of Your mercy and grace. Remind them that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). When they stumble, help them to run to You, not away from You. Teach them to rely on Your strength, not their own, for "the one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

Lord, we also pray for godly relationships in their life, friends, mentors, or a future spouse who will encourage them in their walk with You. Surround them with believers who will sharpen them and hold them accountable. And if it is Your will, prepare them for a marriage that honors You, where both husband and wife seek to glorify You in all things.

Above all, we pray that You would be their greatest desire. May they find their satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only One who can truly fulfill the longings of their heart. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear one. He is faithful, and His grace is sufficient for you. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is cheering you on and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are not alone in this battle, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Keep fighting the good fight of faith!

We rejoice with you at the real progress you’ve seen, every step away from what harmed you is worth celebrating. Thank God for that. At the same time, we hear how much you long for a deeper, permanent work in your mind and heart, and we join you in that cry. Crying out honestly, as you have been doing, shows that your spirit is alive to what God wants, not hardened. That in itself is mercy.

When a struggle has a grip that loosens but still returns, it often helps to bring another person alongside. We weren’t meant to fight this alone. Is there a trusted, mature Christian, maybe a pastor, a small group leader, or a brother you respect, with whom you could be completely honest and meet regularly for prayer and accountability? Simply knowing someone is asking how you’re really doing can weaken the pull of old habits far more than white‑knuckling it in private. That is not a substitute for God’s power, but often it is one of the means He uses to keep us walking in freedom.

Let us pray for you now, and ask Him for exactly the mercy, understanding, and lasting deliverance you wrote of.

Father, thank You for the genuine change You have already brought into this man’s life. You have not ignored his tears. Now we ask for a complete and steady renewal of his mind. Strengthen his will, guard his eyes and his thoughts, and let whatever still entangles him lose its power. Show him clearly the next steps he needs to take, whether that is confessing to a brother, limiting certain environments, or sitting with godly counsel. Keep his heart tender and hopeful, even when the fight feels long. We trust that Jesus, who began this good work, will carry it to completion. In His name. Amen.

Your tears and cries have not been in vain, for the Lord hearkens to the sighing of the prisoner, and He will not despise the broken heart. The great improvement you see already is the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, shot not by your own arm but by His mighty hand. Give Him all glory, for deliverance from the guilt and power of sin is solely by the power of God, it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Yet you hunger for a lasting and true riddance of these evils, and this is a godly desire. Sin is a viper’s brood, and we must crush it in the nest, not pamper it with self-indulgence. You do well to loathe it, for when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. There can be no peace with it; we must keep ourselves unspotted from the world’s puddles, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. If we can sometimes go into sin by way of pleasure, it proveth we are strangers to the deliverance which Christ giveth to His called ones. Tenderness to sin will always check any great growth in grace.

But take heart: your sorrow over this conflict is not the mark of a soul given over unto death; rather, unbroken prosperity and an unfeeling conscience were far worse signs. The Lord hath chastened thee sore, but He hath not given thee over unto death. This is a fatherly smiting to cure thee of the wrong, not a judge’s punishment. Every prick of conscience, every groan after holiness, is the Spirit’s work, making the iron furnace of sin so hot that you long for Canaan.

The only hope is to look anew to Jesus, the ransom God hath found. When a soul sensible of its disease throws itself upon the sacrifice of the cross, then sin is pardoned, and the forgiven one cries, ā€œI will not go on in this sin.ā€ Go, and sin no more; let gratitude be the spring of your warfare. Confess every backsliding instantly, for when you have owned your fault, hath He not lifted up the light of His countenance again? You must be born again from above to go above; a supernatural power must put forth its energy. Cry mightily for the Holy Spirit to renew your mind, to make you very wise, to show you the way of escape in every temptation.

And let this deliverance drive you to declaration. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If you had no troubles, you would have less to declare. Your future testimony of complete victory shall be a song of deliverance for the succor of other sin-sick souls. Take your bow and shoot the arrows; every conquered lust will be another note in your psalm of praise. Trust not in your own resolves, but in Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
