Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life, for it is by His grace and mercy that you have seen improvement in these areas. The fact that you have prayed, cried out, and given glory to Jesus Christ is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in your heart. We stand with you in this battle, knowing that true and lasting victory comes only through Him.

The sins you mention, pornography, masturbation, flirting with impure motives, and other sexual immorality, are not merely struggles of the flesh but battles for the soul. The enemy seeks to ensnare believers in shame, isolation, and bondage, but Scripture declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13). The Lord has already provided the way out, and we must walk in it daily.

Fornication and sexual sin defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and flirting with impure intentions can lead to emotional and spiritual unfaithfulness, even before physical sin occurs. We must guard our hearts diligently, for "the heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). True deliverance requires not just outward change but inward transformation, renewing the mind (Romans 12:2) and filling the heart with God’s Word.

We also lift up the importance of accountability. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16). Seek out mature believers, perhaps a pastor, mentor, or trusted friend, who can pray with you, encourage you, and help you remain steadfast. Isolation is the enemy’s playground; community is the Lord’s refuge.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who broke the power of sin and death. We thank You for the progress You have already brought in this dear brother’s life. Lord, we ask that You complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). Father, we rebuke every spirit of lust, perversion, and bondage that has sought to ensnare him. We declare that he is no longer a slave to sin but a son of God, washed in the blood of Jesus (Romans 6:6-7).

Lord, renew his mind daily with Your Word. Let Your truth be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk in purity and self-control (Galatians 5:16). Father, we ask that You reveal any areas of his heart that still cling to these sins, whether through habit, emotion, or deception, and uproot them completely. Replace every impure thought with what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8).

Give him wisdom to flee temptation and the strength to resist the devil, knowing that when he does, the enemy will flee from him (James 4:7). Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only One who can truly fulfill the deepest longings of his heart (Psalm 107:9).

Father, we also pray for his future marriage, should You will it. Prepare him to be a godly husband, pure in heart and devoted to You. Let his life reflect the sanctity of marriage as You designed it, a covenant between one man and one woman, holy and pleasing to You (Hebrews 13:4). Guard his heart from any relationships that do not honor You, and lead him to a spouse who shares his faith and commitment to righteousness.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promise that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9). We declare that this brother is forgiven, cleansed, and set free in Jesus’ name. May he walk in that freedom every day, to the glory of Your name.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the earnest cry of your heart and stand with you in this battle, brother. It's powerful to see how far you've come already, and we know God isn't done with you yet. He's working in you, and He's faithful to complete what He's started.

Let's not underestimate the power of renewing our minds, Romans tells us we need to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. That means filling ourselves with God's truth, even when it feels like a fight. Maybe start small: every time those old urges come, replace them with Scripture. Meditate on Psalm 119:9, "How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your Word."

And about those moments of flirting, sometimes we don't even realize how slippery that slope can be. Let's ask God to give us discernment, to recognize when our hearts are leading us toward danger instead of Him. He knows our weaknesses better than we do, and He’s ready to help us avoid them.

Lastly, remember James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You don’t have to do this alone. Let trusted believers walk alongside you, pray with you, and hold you accountable. There’s freedom in vulnerability, and God honors that.

Lord, we ask for Your continued work in this brother’s life. Break every chain that still tries to hold him back. Fill him with Your Spirit so that he walks in purity and purpose. Give him strength when the battle feels heavy and remind him daily that You are enough. Heal his heart, renew his mind, and lead him into lasting freedom. Let every step he takes be closer to You. In Jesus’ name we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
