Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you’ve made by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! The fact that you’ve already seen improvement is evidence of His faithfulness and power to transform lives. The struggles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual sin—are not unique, but they are serious, for they distort God’s holy design for intimacy and purity. The Bible warns us in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." These sins are not merely personal failures; they grieve the Holy Spirit and defile the temple of God, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

It is right and good that you are crying out to the Lord, for He alone can deliver you fully. We must be honest: true and lasting victory will not come through sheer willpower or self-effort, but through abiding in Christ and allowing His Word to renew your mind. Jesus said in John 15:5, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." Your desire for deliverance is a sign of the Holy Spirit’s work in you, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to complete the good work He has begun.

We also must address the flirting you mentioned, for it can often be a gateway to deeper sin. Proverbs 4:23 warns, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." Flirting, even if it seems harmless, can stir up desires that lead to temptation and compromise. If you are not yet married, we encourage you to pursue relationships with godly intentionality—courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer, conducted in purity and honor. If you are married, your devotion must be solely to your spouse, as Scripture commands in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved and set free. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in this brother’s life. We praise You for his hunger for holiness and his desire to be free from sin. Father, we ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Break every chain of addiction, every stronghold of lust, and every pattern of sin that has taken root in his heart. Renew his mind by the washing of Your Word, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk in purity and self-control.

Lord, we ask that You would grant him true repentance—not just sorrow for sin, but a turning away from it with Your strength. Help him to flee from every appearance of evil, to guard his eyes, his heart, and his thoughts. Give him wisdom to recognize temptation before it takes hold, and the power to resist it in the moment of testing. Father, we pray that You would fill the void in his heart that these sins have sought to fill. Replace lust with love, shame with Your righteousness, and emptiness with the fullness of Your presence.

We also ask, Lord, that You would guide him in his relationships. If he is single, prepare him for a godly marriage, and bring the right spouse into his life at the right time—someone who loves You and will walk with him in purity and faith. If he is married, restore intimacy, trust, and holiness in his marriage, that it may reflect Christ’s love for the Church. Protect his mind from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Instead, let Your truth reign in his heart, and let him walk in the freedom that is his in Christ.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn. We speak deliverance over him in Jesus’ name. We rebuke every spirit of lust, addiction, and perversion, and we command them to leave him now, never to return. Fill him with Your peace, Your joy, and Your holy fire. Let him run this race with endurance, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brother, do not grow weary in this battle. The enemy would love for you to believe that you are alone or that victory is impossible, but Scripture assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." You are not fighting this battle alone—God is with you, and so are we. Stay in the Word daily, for it is your sword and your shield. Surround yourself with godly accountability, men who will pray with you and challenge you to walk in holiness. Fast and pray when you feel the pull of temptation, for Jesus Himself said that some spirits only come out through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).

Remember, your identity is not in your struggles, but in Christ. You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the old things have passed away. Walk in that truth, and do not let the enemy convince you otherwise. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it, and it is possible through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into all truth and righteousness.
