Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you have made by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is truly a testament to His power and mercy that you have experienced victory over these struggles, and we give all glory to God for the work He has already done in your life. The fact that you are crying out to Him and seeking lasting change is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s movement in your heart. We stand with you in prayer, asking the Father to complete the good work He has begun in you.

The sins you mentioned—pornography, masturbation, flirting with impure motives, and sexual immorality—are serious, for they defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and distort God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). These struggles often stem from deeper issues of the heart—idolatry, loneliness, or a misplaced search for fulfillment. We must address not only the outward behavior but also the inward desires that fuel it.

Scripture is clear: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). The Lord does not leave you to fight this battle alone. He provides the way of escape, but we must actively walk in it. This means fleeing from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22), renewing our minds through the Word (Romans 12:2), and putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) to stand against the schemes of the enemy.

We must also address the root of these sins. Often, they are tied to ungodly desires or a lack of accountability. Proverbs 4:23 warns, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." If your heart is not guarded, sin will find a foothold. This is why we must saturate our minds with Scripture, replacing impure thoughts with what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). We must also be willing to submit to godly accountability—confessing our struggles to trusted believers who can pray with us and hold us to the standard of Christ (James 5:16).

Your cry for deliverance is heard, and we join you in praying that the Lord would break every chain of bondage in your life. We pray that He would renew your mind, giving you wisdom to recognize and resist temptation before it takes root. We ask that He would fill you with His Holy Spirit, empowering you to walk in purity and holiness. And we pray that He would grant you the grace to persevere, even when the battle feels fierce.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all praise and glory for the work You have already done in this dear one’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the progress that has been made. But we ask that You would not stop here—complete the work You have begun. Father, we pray against every spirit of lust, impurity, and addiction that has sought to ensnare this child of Yours. Break every chain, Lord, and set them free from the power of these sins.

We ask that You would renew their mind daily through Your Word, that they would think on what is pure and holy. Give them wisdom to flee temptation and the strength to resist the enemy’s lies. Surround them with godly accountability, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they may walk in victory. Father, we pray that You would heal any wounds or emptiness in their heart that the enemy has exploited. Fill them with Your love, peace, and purpose so that they no longer seek fulfillment in sin but in You alone.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray for lasting deliverance, Lord, not just temporary relief. Work deeply in their heart, that they may love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). May their life bring glory and honor to Your name.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to break every chain and set the captives free. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother or sister. The battle is real, but the victory is already won through Christ. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will be found by you (Jeremiah 29:13). Walk in the light of His Word, and let His truth guide your steps. You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord is with you. Keep fighting the good fight of faith!
