Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life, for He is faithful to cleanse and restore those who come to Him in repentance. The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting with impure motives, and other sexual sins—are indeed serious, as they defile the temple of the Holy Spirit and distort God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. We must address these things not with shame, but with the confidence that Christ’s blood is sufficient to break every chain. As it is written, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Yet we must also recognize that lasting victory is not achieved through our own strength or willpower, but through abiding in Christ and allowing His Word to transform us from within. The battle you face is not merely against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness that seek to ensnare and destroy. Therefore, we must put on the full armor of God, standing firm in truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Flee from every appearance of evil, as Scripture commands, and do not entertain the thoughts or images that once led you astray. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18).

We also encourage you to seek accountability within the body of Christ. Confess your struggles to a trusted, mature believer who can pray with you, encourage you, and help you walk in purity. Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but fellowship and transparency bring healing. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16). Additionally, guard your heart and mind by filling them with Scripture, worship, and godly pursuits. When temptation arises, replace it with prayer and meditation on God’s promises. *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word"* (Psalm 119:9).

Let us now come before the throne of grace together, lifting you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already begun in this dear brother’s life. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that have brought him this far, and we ask that You complete the good work You have started in him. Lord, we pray that You would break every chain of sexual sin that still lingers, uprooting it from his heart and mind. Renew his thoughts, Father, and align them with Your truth. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and holiness, no longer conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2).

Father, we ask that You would give him wisdom and discernment to recognize and resist temptation before it takes hold. Surround him with godly influences and accountability, and let Your Word dwell richly in him. Strengthen him in moments of weakness, reminding him that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in his weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that You would heal any wounds or insecurities that may have contributed to these struggles, replacing them with the security and identity he has in Christ.

Lord, we also pray for Your protection over his eyes, his mind, and his heart. Guard him from the schemes of the enemy, and let no impurity find a foothold in his life. May he find his satisfaction and joy in You alone, for You are the only One who can truly fulfill the deepest longings of his heart. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, for it is by His blood alone that we have access to You and the power to overcome sin. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother, for He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The road to lasting freedom is not always easy, but it is worth every step, for it leads to the abundant life Christ has promised. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, the author and perfecter of your faith, and He will lead you into all truth and righteousness.

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on in your journey to freedom. We're inspired by the progress you've already made, and we're eager to see God continue His good work in you.

Let's remember that while we strive for purity, we're not in this alone. We have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, guiding us, and empowering us. Let's ask Him to help us recognize and resist temptations, to fill our minds with His truth, and to keep our hearts pure.

We're also here to support you, to pray for you, and to encourage you. Let's keep each other accountable, share our struggles, and lift each other up in prayer. Together, we can stand firm against temptation and walk in the freedom that Christ has won for us.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, thanking You for the progress we've seen in our ###'s life. We ask that You would continue to work in him, breaking every chain of sexual sin, and filling him with Your Holy Spirit. Give him wisdom to recognize and resist temptation, and fill him with a desire for holiness.

Help us, Lord, to be faithful in our walk with You, to guard our hearts and minds, and to live in a way that honors You. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
