Help! I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory that the Lord Jesus Christ has already begun in your life! It is a beautiful testimony of His grace and power that you have seen improvement in these areas, and we give all glory to Him for the work He has done. The fact that you are crying out for lasting change shows a heart that truly desires to honor God, and that is something to celebrate. The enemy would love to keep you bound in shame and secrecy, but Christ has already broken those chains, and we stand with you in declaring freedom in His name.

We must address these struggles with both truth and compassion, for the Word of God calls sexual sin what it is—sin—but also offers the hope of complete transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality, including pornography, masturbation, and flirting that stirs lust, is not pleasing to God. First Thessalonians 4:3-5 tells us, *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."* These are not just "struggles" to manage but sins to repent of and turn away from entirely. The good news is that God’s grace is greater than our sin, and His power is made perfect in our weakness.

We also want to gently but firmly address the issue of flirting. While it may seem harmless, flirting with the opposite sex can easily become a stumbling block if it stirs up emotions or desires that are not aligned with God’s design for purity. The Bible calls us to flee from even the appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22) and to guard our hearts diligently (Proverbs 4:23). If your interactions with others are leading you into temptation or distracting you from your walk with Christ, it may be wise to set boundaries that honor God and protect your heart. Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and every thought, word, and action should reflect that truth.

Your cry for deliverance is heard, and we believe God is already at work in you. But we must also recognize that lasting change requires more than just a one-time prayer—it requires a daily surrender to God’s will and a commitment to walk in obedience. Romans 12:2 says, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This transformation happens as you fill your mind with Scripture, spend time in prayer, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and hold you accountable. You cannot do this alone, nor should you try. God has designed the body of Christ to support and strengthen one another, so we encourage you to seek out a trusted pastor, mentor, or small group where you can be honest about your struggles and find godly counsel.

We also want to remind you that true freedom is not just about stopping sinful behaviors but about filling your heart and mind with the things of God. When you are tempted, turn to Scripture and pray. Memorize verses that speak to God’s power and your identity in Christ, such as 1 Corinthians 10:13: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* Replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s Word. When you feel weak, remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this precious one’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that have brought them this far, and we ask that You would complete the work You have started in them. Father, we confess that sexual sin has no place in the life of a believer, and we ask that You would root out every trace of it from their heart, mind, and body. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and set them free from every chain that has held them captive.

Lord, we pray that You would renew their mind and transform their thoughts. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to fill their mind with Your Word. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize temptation before it takes hold and the strength to flee from it. Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly friends and mentors who can encourage and hold them accountable. Remove any stumbling blocks from their path and lead them into deeper intimacy with You.

We pray for lasting deliverance, Lord. Not just a temporary victory, but a complete transformation that brings glory to Your name. Help them to walk in purity and holiness, not out of legalism, but out of love for You. May their life be a testimony of Your power and grace, drawing others to You. Father, we ask that You would speak to them in a personal and powerful way. Let them hear Your voice clearly and follow Your leading without hesitation.

We also pray for healing, Lord. Heal any wounds or shame that have come from these struggles. Restore their heart and fill them with Your peace. May they know that in Christ, they are a new creation—the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). Help them to see themselves as You see them: forgiven, redeemed, and deeply loved.

Lord, we ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue pressing into God’s presence daily. Spend time in His Word, not just to find rules to follow, but to encounter the living God who loves you and desires a relationship with you. Worship Him in spirit and in truth, for He is worthy of all praise. And remember, you are not defined by your past or your struggles—you are defined by Christ and His finished work on the cross. Walk in that truth, and let it set you free.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on in your journey towards freedom. We're so glad to hear that you've already seen improvement in your life, and we want to celebrate that victory with you! It's a beautiful thing to see God at work, transforming lives and breaking chains.

We want to encourage you to keep pressing on, to keep crying out to God for more transformation. Remember, lasting change takes time, and it's a daily process of surrender and obedience. But God is faithful, and He's already started a good work in you. He'll be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You today, thanking You for the progress we've already seen in our ###'s life. We praise You for Your grace and mercy that have brought him this far. Lord, we ask that You would continue to work in his life, rooting out every trace of sexual sin from his heart, mind, and body. Cleanse him by Your blood and set him free from every chain that has held him captive.

Lord, we pray that You would renew his mind and transform his thoughts. Help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to fill his mind with Your Word. Give him wisdom and discernment to recognize temptation before it takes hold and the strength to flee from it. Surround him with godly friends and mentors who can encourage him and hold him accountable.

Lord, we pray for lasting deliverance. Not just a temporary victory, but a complete transformation that brings glory to Your name. Help him to walk in purity and holiness, not out of legalism, but out of love for You. May his life be a testimony of Your power and grace, drawing others to You.

Lord, we also pray for healing. Heal any wounds or shame that have come from these struggles. Restore his heart and fill him with Your peace. Help him to see himself as You see him: forgiven, redeemed, and deeply loved.

Lord, we ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust that You are already at work, answering our cries. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. You're not alone in this. We're here with you, cheering you on every step of the way. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember, He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
