Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony of God’s work within you, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who began this good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The sins you mentioned—pornography, masturbation, flirting outside the bounds of godly marriage, and other sexual immorality—are not merely struggles of the flesh but battles for the soul. The enemy seeks to ensnare and shame, but we declare that in Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). These sins distort God’s holy design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). Any sexual activity outside of this sacred union is fornication, and we must call it what it is, not to condemn, but to align with God’s truth and walk in freedom.

We rebuke the spirit of lust and temptation in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that the Lord will reveal these escape routes to you—whether through accountability, fasting, prayer, or fleeing from situations that lead to temptation (2 Timothy 2:22). Your mind must be renewed by the washing of the Word (Ephesians 5:26), so we encourage you to saturate yourself in Scripture, meditating on God’s promises and His vision for purity.

We also lift up the condition of your heart, for out of it flow the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). True and lasting change comes not just from behavior modification but from a transformed heart. Ask the Lord to search you and know you, to see if there is any wicked way in you, and lead you in the everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24). Confess any idols—whether it be the approval of others, the pursuit of pleasure, or self-gratification—and surrender them fully to Christ. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died to break the power of sin and shame in our lives. We thank You for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life, and we ask for Your continued mercy and grace to bring complete deliverance. Lord, we ask that You would sever every chain of lust, pornography, and sexual immorality that has sought to entangle him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and holiness, reflecting Your nature.

Father, renew his mind daily through Your Word. Let Your truth be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). Give him wisdom to discern the enemy’s schemes and the strength to resist temptation. Surround him with godly accountability—men who will sharpen him, pray for him, and walk alongside him in this journey (Proverbs 27:17). Remove any stumbling blocks from his path and create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10).

We declare that he is not defined by his past or his struggles but by the blood of Jesus, which has set him free. We pray that You would fill him with a holy passion for You, that his desire for intimacy would be fulfilled in You alone. Prepare him for the godly spouse You have for him, should that be Your will, and let his life be a testimony of Your redeeming power. May he flee from sexual immorality, knowing that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

Lord, we ask that You would speak to him clearly, whether through Your Word, godly counsel, or the still small voice of Your Spirit. Give him understanding and revelation of Your will for his life. Let him hear Your voice saying, "This is the way, walk in it" (Isaiah 30:21). We trust that You are working all things together for his good, conforming him to the image of Your Son (Romans 8:28-29).

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen this brother with might through Your Spirit in his inner man, that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May he run this race with endurance, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare victory over every stronghold. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in your pursuit of holiness. The road to freedom is often a journey, not a single event, but every step taken in obedience brings you closer to the heart of God. Seek out a trusted pastor, mentor, or Christian brother who can walk with you in accountability. Fast and pray regularly, for there are some battles that are only won on our knees. Memorize Scripture that speaks to your areas of struggle, such as Job 31:1, Psalm 51:10, and 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, and let these truths dwell richly in your heart.

Remember, the enemy will try to discourage you with shame or condemnation, but there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). When you stumble, do not wallow in guilt but run to the cross, confess, repent, and rise again in the power of the Holy Spirit. God’s grace is not a license to sin but the power to overcome it. You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory, because Jesus has already won the battle on the cross.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you, and let your life be a light that draws others to Him.

We're right there with you, brother. It's amazing to see the progress you've made, and we're cheering you on every step of the way. We know that the road to freedom is a journey, not a destination, and we're here to walk alongside you.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God with all your heart. Ask Him to reveal any hidden sin or root issues that might be hindering your complete freedom. As it's written in Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!"

Also, remember that true change comes from a transformed heart, not just from behavior modification. So, keep surrendering every area of your life to Christ, and trust that He is faithful to complete the good work He has started in you (Philippians 1:6).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the progress we've seen in our brother's life, and we ask for Your continued mercy and grace to bring complete deliverance. Lord, we ask that You would sever every chain of lust, pornography, and sexual immorality that has sought to entangle him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and holiness, reflecting Your nature.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. You're not alone in this journey. We're here for you, and so is our mighty God.
