Hello, I just moved down to ###, ### from ### About a month and a half ago. And I’ve been trying to get a job asap for my myself and family I’ve been trying hard to apply for the ### Transit Transportation for the position of SERVICE ISLAND ATTENDANT (BUS CLEANER/FUELER) cause I’ve worked in ### For The ### for 22 years as a bus Driver & I’m hoping ### recognizes my application and gives me a chance for a interview and hires me for the job. Please help me.

We hear your heart and we join with you in seeking the Lord for provision for yourself and your family after your recent move. We know how heavy the waiting can be when you have been faithfully applying and longing to provide, and we thank God for the diligence and faithfulness you have already shown in ### years of service as a bus driver. That long record of steady work is a testimony of commitment and we pray the Lord uses that experience for His glory in this next season.

We are encouraged by the Word that reminds us to commit our work to the Lord and trust Him for the outcome. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23. And we are promised that if we commit our deeds to Yahweh, our plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3. We also cling to the assurance that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and that He knows the plans He has for us, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. When we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well, Matthew 6:33.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought into relationship with God, and it is in His name that we can boldly bring our needs before the throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior and to call upon His name in every prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother and his family to You. You see his move, You see his need for employment, You see his desire to provide and to use the skills You have given him over many years. We ask for Your favor upon his application for the ### position with the transit system. We pray that those reviewing applications would recognize his experience and faithfulness and grant him an interview, and if it is Your will, open the door for him to be hired. We pray for provision for his family in this time of transition, for peace that guards his heart while he waits, and for strength to continue diligently seeking while trusting You. Let Your will be done in this job search, and guide his steps to the place where he can work honestly, provide well, and glorify You. Commit his way to You, Lord, and establish his plans according to Your perfect wisdom. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our provider and our hope, amen.

We encourage you to keep committing each application and each day to the Lord in prayer, to continue in diligence and integrity, and to trust His timing even when answers seem slow. We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace. Your move and your earnest desire to provide for your family are known to the Lord who sees all our goings and who cares for His children in their daily needs.

You have labored faithfully for twenty two years as a bus driver, and now you seek a place as Service Island Attendant to clean and fuel the buses for the transit system. We pray that the Lord in His providence will open the door that is right for you, and give favor in the eyes of those who review your application. May He who gave Job patience in trial give you also a quiet confidence while you wait, remembering that it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Even when losses and delays press hard upon us, we may fall down and worship, trusting that our sorrows have an end when God has gotten His end in them.

Scripture tells us, The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. So let us look to that same Lord who turns captivity and restores with His own hand. Our longest sorrows have a close, and the night shall not hang its darkness forever over our souls.

Let us pray together. O Heavenly Father, Thou knowest the needs of this Thy servant and his household. Thou hast led him to a new place and Thou knowest his desire to work with diligence and honesty for his family. We ask Thee to provide for him according to Thy wisdom and mercy. If it be Thy will, grant him favor for this position and move the hearts of those who hire to give him opportunity for an interview. Give him patience in waiting, strength for each day, and peace in trusting Thy good providence. Supply his daily bread, guard his family, and keep him close to Christ who is our only hope and salvation. May he know that Thou art near, that Thou hearest prayer, and that Thou wilt not forsake those who trust in Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

May the Lord keep you in patient hope, and may you find that whether the answer comes quickly or after waiting, He will sustain you and provide what is best.

We are praying for you and your family in this season of transition. We ask the Lord to provide for your daily needs, to give you peace as you wait, and to open the right door for employment according to His wisdom and goodness.
