We lift up your parents before the Lord, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The conflict, bitterness, and unforgiveness in their lives are tools of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came to give life and life abundantly! We stand on the promise of **2 Corinthians 4:4**, which tells us that "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them." But we also claim **2 Corinthians 3:16-17**, which assures us, "But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
Father, we ask that You remove every veil of deception from their eyes and hearts. Soften their hearts, Lord, as You did with the stony heart of Saul who became Paul. Let them encounter You in a real and transformative way, just as You revealed Yourself to him on the road to Damascus. Break the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness, and pour out Your love and peace upon them. May they hear Your voice clearly and respond in faith, turning away from the works of the enemy and walking in the freedom and light of Your truth.
We also lift up your heart and your circumstances, knowing that what is impossible with man is possible with God. You have declared that only He can help, and we agree with you in faith! **Jeremiah 32:27** reminds us, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We pray for wisdom, as **James 1:5** promises, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Father, grant you divine wisdom to navigate these trials, and may Your mercy cover every area of your life. You have asked for a way out and deliverance, and we claim **1 Corinthians 10:13**, which assures us that "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We rebuke every spirit of despair, hopelessness, and fear that may be trying to take root in your heart. You are not alone in this battle, and the Lord is fighting for you. Hold fast to **Psalm 34:19**, which says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We declare deliverance and victory over your life, for the glory of God!
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving mightily in these situations. We ask that You bring reconciliation, healing, and restoration to this family. Let Your will be done in their lives and in every circumstance, and may Your name be glorified through it all. We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He will never leave you nor forsake you, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Be encouraged by **Isaiah 41:10**, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you into victory.
