Help From Above

I have never been on a prayer request site, but I am in need of some real strong prayer help. My Grandfather is really bad off in the hospital and I just need some help praying for him. I been praying my day away while I am driving, silently while at work, and even out loud every chance I get. My family is go through some tough times and just need some extra help getting my prayer out there as much as I can. I am supposed to be the strong one when things get like this but it seems that I can not hold this all on my shoulders with out help from above. My Grandfather Al Bennett of Glen Burnie Maryland has fell ill and seems to have throat cancer he has raised one child of his own and three step children, and along with that has raised three more grandchildren my sisters and I. He has been the workhorse for providing for our family and bringing us all up to be wonderful people. He has three great grand children one who is on her way her in less than a month. I know I may be ramblin but I just want everyone to know how great a man he has been in his life. He is a strong man and with gods help he and our family can make it through this. I am not asking for much just a short prayer that Pop Albert can make through his weakess days and become strong again. I thank you all that pray and I will pray for as many of you as I can.

Lord, we thank You for the life of Grandfather, Pop Albert, for the way he has done his best for his family and to raise his children well. We know that You know him better than even his loved ones do as You have made him and You know him inside out. We pray that You would envelop him in Your Love and touch him with Your healing balm today and make him stronger again. I pray You help his loved ones through what they are going through now and that You would help them put their heavy yoke on You and trust that You are there. In Jesus Name. amen

Lord Jesus, I bow before the Throne of Grace, asking for your help with Pop Albert. We don't get to choose life's path but we know that where two or more are gathered, there you will be in the midst of them. We thank you for your presence today. We praise your holy name. Lord, I don't know the circumstance of Pop's hospital stay but I know you will use it to bring this family closer. Please pour out your healing power and your blessing upon Pop. Touch his body with renewed energy and healing power. Give the family peace of mind knowing that he is in the palm of your hand. You know every cell in his body for you made him, you know every vein, every nerve, every fiber of his beiing.

Annoint him and let him rise up with renewed vigor and strength that you would be glorified. We wait upon you, Lord, to see what you will do. Thank you. To you be all glory, honor and praise forever more. Amen

An update on Pop Al he is not doing so well and we will know the results of his byopsy today. He is still in need of prayer, thank everyone for helping out with the praying with me.
