Help from Above

I have never been on a prayer request site, but I am in need of some real strong prayer help. My Grandfather is really bad off in the hospital and I just need some help praying for him. I been praying my day away while I am driving, silently while at work, and even out loud every chance I get. My family is go through some tough times and just need some extra help getting my prayer out there as much as I can. I am supposed to be the strong one when things get like this but it seems that I can not hold this all on my shoulders with out help from above. My Grandfather Al Bennett of Glen Burnie Maryland has fell ill and seems to have throat cancer he has raised one child of his own and three step children, and along with that has raised three more grandchildren my sisters and I. He has been the workhorse for providing for our family and bringing us all up to be wonderful people. He has three great grand children one who is on her way her in less than a month. I know I may be ramblin but I just want everyone to know how great a man he has been in his life. He is a strong man and with gods help he and our family can make it through this. I am not asking for much just a short prayer that Pop Albert can make through his weakess days and become strong again. I thank you all that pray and I will pray for as many of you as I can.

Father, I join in praying for this family. Our gift of family is truly a treasure, and I pray that You would supply Your healing and comfort upon Al. Give his doctors Your wisdom and knowledge, help his treatments and medications destroy this cancer and restore his health. I pray that You will allow him to contnue to be the great mentor and role model he has been for this family. As he welcomes more great grandchildren, help them to hear of Your goodness and love through the testimony of their healed great grandfather. May Your blessings flow over and around Al. In Jesus' name, amen.
