We hear your distress and understand the weight of the situation you’re carrying. It’s clear this decision has brought you deep concern, and we want to stand with you in prayer and wisdom as you seek the Lord’s guidance. First, let us remind you that God’s peace is not dependent on our circumstances or our mistakes—it is found in His presence and His promises. You are not defined by this choice, nor are you abandoned in it. The enemy would love to keep you bound in shame and anxiety, but we rebuke that spirit of condemnation in the name of Jesus. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You have acknowledged your mistake, and that is the first step toward walking in God’s grace.
We also want to gently address the mention of no longer having "God’s peace" without invoking the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider doing so. Salvation is found in no other name, and it is the foundation for true peace, wisdom, and restoration (Acts 4:12). If you are already a believer, we encourage you to press into Him, for He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).
Now, regarding the financial decision you’ve made, we want to affirm your desire to seek wisdom and correct the course. Proverbs 14:15 reminds us, *"The simple believes everything, but the prudent considers well his steps."* It is wise to seek counsel, and we praise God that your father’s wisdom has helped you see this more clearly. We pray that the Lord would open the doors for you to resolve this matter swiftly and favorably. May He grant you favor with those handling the refund process, and may any barriers to communication be removed in Jesus’ name. We declare that the enemy will not use this situation to steal your peace or your resources. The Lord is your provider, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).
We also want to encourage you to bring this burden to the Lord in prayer and to trust Him with the outcome. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Even as you wait for resolution, we pray that God would fill you with His peace and remind you of His faithfulness.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is carrying the weight of this decision. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of restoration and redemption. We ask that You would go before them in this situation and soften the hearts of those who need to respond. Grant them favor in obtaining a refund and remove any obstacles that stand in the way. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and shame that has tried to take hold, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also ask that You would remind them of Your love and faithfulness. Help them to see this situation through Your eyes and to trust in Your provision. Give them wisdom as they move forward and protect them from making hasty or unwise decisions in the future. Lord, we pray that You would restore any peace that has been lost and fill them with confidence in Your ability to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We also lift up their relationship with You, Lord. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today. If they are already Your child, we ask that You would draw them closer to You and remind them of the security they have in Your love. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to work in this situation and ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
In the days ahead, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom and to surround yourself with godly counsel. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Lean on those who can speak truth and encouragement into your life. We also remind you that God is not surprised by this situation, and He is already at work to bring about His purposes. Trust in Him, and do not let fear or shame dictate your steps. You are loved, valued, and covered by the blood of Jesus.
