Let the Word GO FORTH, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, John 17:15, and let me see together with the rest of the righteous the day the serpent be choked with a great chain by "an angel" Rev 20:2. Thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this cry and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking the Father for the inexhaustible fountain of grace in Christ Jesus. As it is written, In him we have obtained an inheritance John 1:16 says of his fullness we all received, and grace upon grace, and Zechariah 13:1 speaks of a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness. We ask for mercy and grace to help in time of need Hebrews 4:16 and we agree with you for strength to fast and pray as Isaiah 58:6-12 describes, not as an outward show but to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, that our light would break forth as the morning and the Lord would guide us continually.

We agree that Jesus is building His church and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it Matthew 16:18. We take our stand with you against the schemes of the devil Ephesians 6:11, knowing that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers Ephesians 6:12. We submit ourselves to God and resist the devil and he will flee from us James 4:7, and we resist him steadfast in the faith knowing the same sufferings are accomplished in our brothers and sisters in the world 1 Peter 5:8-9. We ask that the Holy Spirit who is our Helper will teach us all things and bring to our remembrance all that Jesus said John 14:26, and guide us into all truth John 16:13.

We wage war not with carnal weapons but with the mighty weapons of God to tear down strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. We put on the full armor of God Ephesians 6:11 that we may stand.

We hear your loneliness and we pray that you will know in a fresh way that it is good for you to draw near to God Psalm 73:28. He intimately knows all your ways and is acquainted with all your paths Psalm 139:3. James 4:8 promises if we draw near to God, he will draw near to us. We pray for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him Ephesians 1:17, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding Colossians 1:9, that you may abide in Christ and His words abide in you John 15:7, and that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith, strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person Ephesians 3:16-17, that you may know the breadth and length and height and depth and know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge Ephesians 3:18-19.

We pray for grace to hear His voice, for Jesus said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27, and to be led by the Spirit of God as sons of God Romans 8:14, and to obey His voice as Abraham did Genesis 22:18. We ask for grace to praise and worship Him Psalm 149:1-5 and for confirmation by the mouth of two or three witnesses Matthew 18:16 and 2 Corinthians 13:1 that you may have clear direction.

We do not lose heart but continue in prayer as Jesus taught that we ought always to pray and not to faint Luke 18:1. We pray with you that your faith and the faith of your matrimonial spouse will not fail, and that when you have turned again you will strengthen your brothers Luke 22:32. We honor your marriage covenant before God, for marriage is honorable and holy, and we lift up your spouse and your youngster before the throne. We pray the Lord will deliver you all from temptation and the evil one Matthew 6:13 and Luke 11:4, keep you from evil people and the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3, and guard you so that the Lord may keep you from evil John 17:15. We ask that lying lips be put away and falsehood removed far from you Proverbs 30:8 and that you may be kept as a remnant that does no iniquity nor speaks lies Zephaniah 3:13.

We pray that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified 2 Thessalonians 3:1, and we look forward with you to the day when the serpent, the old dragon, is bound with a great chain by an angel Revelation 20:2. We thank God that in Christ all the promises are Yes and Amen to the glory of God through us 2 Corinthians 1:20.

Father, we thank You for this brother who seeks Your nearness. Fill him with Your peace which surpasses all understanding which will guard his heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Let him walk in love Ephesians 5:2, abide in You, and see Your deliverance. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to Your throne. Amen.

We hear the weight in what you shared, especially that feeling of being very alone right now and your deep desire for God's nearness to be your good. We also hear your love for your spouse and child and your longing to walk faithfully, to hear the Lord's voice and follow it, and to keep standing firm in prayer.

Loneliness can make every other battle feel heavier, and worship and ordinary fellowship with other believers is one of the ways God gently lifts that isolation. It is not just you and God facing the world alone, but God with His people. Even when you do not feel like it, simply keeping a steady place among God's people, hearing His word together and praying with one or two trusted believers, can help quiet that sense of being cut off.

We also hear your desire to fast and pray. It helps to think of those disciplines as training over time rather than trying to do everything at once. Small, consistent steps, sustained by grace, often bear more lasting fruit than pushing hard for a moment and then feeling spent.

We are praying with you and for your family, that you would know God's presence day by day and have wisdom for each next step.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. Draw near to him in this lonely season and let him know he is seen and held by You. Strengthen him for prayer, give him wisdom and clear direction, and keep him, his wife and child from temptation and evil. Remind them of Your truth and fill their home with Your peace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has come before the church and we have heard the burden of your heart, and we join our petitions with yours at the throne of grace. You have asked rightly, for you have asked for the nearness of God to be your good, and this is the very thing which the blood of Christ has purchased for us.

You feel alone, and you say with the Psalmist that God is intimately acquainted with all your ways. Be comforted then by this truth, that He is not far from each one of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being. Though man by his fall thought God to be far off, revelation teaches us that He draws near in Christ Jesus. By virtue of His blood we are brought nigh, not as those who worshipped afar off at the foot of Sinai, but as those who are admitted into communion through the ransom which God Himself has found. That voice you shall always hear if you are a child of God, when you get into peril and trouble, God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved. He says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

You ask for grace to fast and pray according to Isaiah 58, to resist the serpent and his lies, and to stand against the schemes of the devil. This is good, for the fast which God has chosen looses the bands of wickedness, and our warfare is not with carnal weapons but with the mighty armor and weapons of God to tear down strongholds. Remember that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification. The grace of God has not come into us merely to keep us away from some few notable vices, but to deliver us altogether from the power of darkness. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, resist the devil and he will flee from you, resist him firmly in the faith, and remember the promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church which Christ builds.

You ask for wisdom and revelation, for intimacy and direction, to hear His voice and obey it, and for the Holy Spirit to bring to remembrance the truth of Christ. Ask Him who has the clue to every truth, for the Spirit of God will guide you into it. In the very first hour of conversion we perceive our nearness to God, and that nearness grows as we walk with Him in the light. If you cannot find your way into the heart of any truth of God, ask the Spirit to guide you, and He will remind you of all that Jesus has said.

We will pray with you and not lose heart, as our Lord taught us that men ought always to pray and not to faint. We pray that your faith fail not, and that being strengthened you may strengthen others. We pray that you may be strengthened with power to know the breadth and length and depth and height of the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that it may dwell in your heart by faith.

For your matrimonial spouse and your youngster, we entreat the Lord for deliverance from temptation, sin, deception and lies, that the Word may go forth and that you may be kept from evil people and from the evil one. The justified child of God is not afraid to meet the demands of righteousness, for he walks in covenant mercies, and we thank God that we have wells to go to and are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water. May He keep you all from the pit, and make you to magnify Him for His delivering grace, and to make a fresh dedication of yourselves to Him who alone can work this freedom. For without the shedding of blood there is no remission, and there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free, and His liberty is an eternal one, nor shall the infernal lion ever be able to rend one sheep or lamb that the Great Shepherd deigns to keep.

You have known loneliness, and in this you have fellowship with the Master who Himself knew what it was to be forsaken, yet could say, I am not alone, because the Father is with me. Sometimes the child of God endures loneliness arising from the absence of godly society, and sometimes he must walk in narrow paths where pilgrims must march in single file. Persevere in lone obedience, for it may be a test of your faith. If we can trust, God will never allow us to be confounded.

Therefore we commend you to Him who hears prayer, that He would grant you nearness, revelation, wisdom and strength, that the peace of God which passes all understanding would keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, until the day when the serpent shall be bound with a great chain. We will continue to wage war with you in prayer, believing that He who has begun a good work will perform it, and that He who has delivered will yet deliver.

Your prayer has been heard with care, and we join you in lifting it to the Father through Jesus Christ.

You have asked for grace to abide, to fast according to Isaiah 58, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil, and to know the nearness of God as your good according to Psalm 73. You have asked for wisdom, revelation, strength, and for the love of Christ to dwell in you, and for your household, your wife and your child, to be delivered from temptation, deception and every evil. We pray with you for these things and we urge you not to lose heart as the Lord taught in Luke 18.

Know first that God often delays an answer not because He is unwilling to give, but because He is training us to persevere. He lengthens our supplication so that we learn to flee to Him continually and there to abide. As a loving father permits a fearful moment so that his child will run to his arms, so God permits trial so that we will run to Him and remain close to Him. If you receive quickly, give thanks because you have received. If you have not yet received, persevere so that you may receive. Either way, remain in prayer.

You also face temptation and spiritual opposition. Scripture assures us that no temptation has taken you except what is common to humanity, and God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear, but with the temptation He will also make the way of escape so that you may endure it. He gives patience and brings release in His time, and He refers all things to His own faithfulness. Therefore resist the devil firmly in the faith as James and Peter exhort, draw near to God and He will draw near to you, and wage war not with fleshly weapons but with the mighty armor and weapons of God which tear down strongholds. The Holy Spirit will remind you of the truth of Christ as Jesus promised.

Concerning your marriage and family, be encouraged. Marriage is honorable and pure. It is not itself holiness, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith by guarding the union from defilement. Marriage is not an impure state and it is not a hindrance to godliness when it is lived with moderation and with a purpose set toward God. Use it with self control and with prayer, and it becomes a place where love is practiced, faith is strengthened, and children are nurtured in the Lord. We pray that you and your wife will walk in lowliness and meekness and long suffering toward one another and toward all, for that lowliness is shown not only in words but in bearing and tone, and it keeps good deeds from being spoiled by pride or anger.

So we pray for you now:

Father, thank You for the fountain of grace opened in Christ Jesus. Grant to our brother mercy and strength to fast and pray in a way that looses bonds and pleases You. Let the gates of hell not prevail against Your church, and give him steadiness to stand against the lies of the serpent. Draw him near, for nearness to You is his good. Grant him wisdom and revelation, a heart to praise and worship, ears to hear the voice of the Shepherd and grace to obey. Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner being so that he may know the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ. Keep his faith and the faith of his wife from failing, so that after being restored you may use them to strengthen others. Deliver him, his wife and his child from temptation, from sin, from lying lips and deceitful tongues, and keep them from evil people and from the evil one. Let Your word go forth freely and be honored. Keep them in Your truth until the day when the ancient serpent is bound. We ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting Your peace to guard hearts and minds. Amen.

Your request for nearness to God and for strength to fast and pray has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. You spoke of feeling very much alone, and of asking that the nearness of God would be your good. That is a right prayer. He is already intimately acquainted with all your ways, He sees where you sit and where you rise, and He draws near to those who draw near to Him. When loneliness presses in, remember that His presence is not distant. To be near Him is itself the answer.

Thank you for anchoring your prayer in the fountain of grace that is in Christ. Our standing before God does not rest on our resolve but on His will. We were not born again by the will of man or the will of the flesh, but by the will of God. Jesus said you did not choose Him, He chose you. Of His own will He brought you forth by the word of truth to be a new creation in Christ. That same grace that saved you is inexhaustible, and it is the ground for confidence that He will keep you and complete what He has begun.

You asked for grace to resist the lies of the enemy and to stand firm in the faith. Scripture is clear that temptation itself is not sin. We all are tempted, and even Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness and was tempted by the devil. Sin comes when desire is allowed to conceive and we turn after the path that is suggested to us. The call therefore is to resist, to stand against the schemes of the devil, to resist him firmly in faith, and he will flee. Part of his oldest tactic is still the same as in the garden. He questions what God has said, then he contradicts it, then he defames the character of God as if God were holding back something good from you. When those whispers come, answer with what is written. The word of God is the seed, and it will not return empty. When it is sown with an open heart it accomplishes the purpose for which God sends it, and the Holy Spirit is faithful to bring that word back to your mind and to remind you of the truth of Jesus.

You mentioned fasting according to Isaiah 58 and waging war not with fleshly weapons but with the mighty armor and weapons God supplies to tear down strongholds. That is the right understanding. The battle is spiritual, and God has given protection and provision for His people. He has even put His angels in charge to keep His people in all their ways. Yet we are not to put ourselves deliberately in danger to test His faithfulness. Our part is to walk in obedience, to let God be the center of life and to follow Christ. His purposes are fulfilled through His appointed way, which for our redemption was the cross, where we were redeemed not with silver or gold but with the precious blood of Christ. Because that victory is already won, you can stand with confidence.

You prayed that the gates of hell would not prevail against the church Jesus builds. That promise stands. The church is His building, and the powers of death cannot stand against it. The enemy is not outside of God's sovereignty. He is under control and serves only as God permits, and the day is coming when he will be bound with a great chain by an angel and finally confined forever. Until then we wait upon the Lord and keep eternal perspective, lest we become so involved in present pressures that we forget the greatness and power and holiness of God. He is absolutely pure, without shadow, and His voice is mighty upon the waters. To worship Him in the beauty of His holiness lifts our eyes above the immediate struggle.

You also asked for your marriage and your child to be delivered from temptation, sin, deception and lies, and to be kept from evil people and from the evil one. God established marriage from the beginning as His divine ideal, one man and one woman joined for life. Because of hardness of heart people have not lived up to that ideal, but the ideal still stands as what God intends and blesses. Sex and living together belong within that covenant. To honor that covenant, to keep it pure, and to ask God to guard your home from evil is pleasing to Him. He who sees all that is done in secret is the same God who sees your desire to walk in faithfulness, and as His child you are called to live as one who belongs to Him. Pray as Jesus taught, deliver us from evil, keep us from the evil one. He is faithful to guard His own.

For your sense of aloneness, remember also the family of God. When faith in Christ creates distance even from those closest to you, the Lord gives a hundredfold in brothers and sisters united in Him. You are not forgotten. Many are praying with you not to lose heart, to keep asking, seeking and knocking.

So I pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, grant mercy and grace to fast and pray with a true heart that looses bonds and breaks yokes. Grant revelation and wisdom, strength in the inner person, and power to comprehend the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ that dwells within. Grant nearness, intimacy as we abide in Christ and His words abide in us, a clear hearing of the Shepherd's voice and grace to obey it, direction by Your Spirit and confirmation by Your word. Keep this dear one, this spouse and this child from temptation and from the evil one, let Your word go forth in their home and not return void, and let falsehood be put far away. Strengthen faith so it does not fail, and in Your time use what has been endured to strengthen others. Let the peace of God which passes understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you up before the Father, thanking Him for the inexhaustible fountain of grace in Christ Jesus and asking Him to grant you mercy, grace and strength to abide in Him and to fast and pray as you sought according to Isa 58:6. We have prayed that you would know the nearness of God to be your good even in this season of feeling very much alone according to Psalm 73:28, and that He who is intimately acquainted with all your ways according to Psalm 139:3 would give you wisdom and revelation according to Eph 1:17, intimacy according to John 15:7, and strength to comprehend the dimensions of the love of Christ according to Eph 3:16.

We have stood in agreement with you that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church that Jesus builds according to Matt 16:18, and that you would be equipped with the mighty armor and weapons of God to tear down strongholds according to 2 Cor 10:4 and to stand against the schemes of the devil according to Eph 6:11. We have prayed that you and your matrimonial spouse and your youngster would be delivered from temptation and from the evil one and kept from evil people according to Matt 6:13 and 2 Thes 3:3 and John 17:15, that you would be kept from deception and lies, and that together you would resist the serpent and his lies and resist him firmly in the faith according to James 4:7 and 1 Pet 5:9. We have asked the Holy Spirit to remind you and your spouse of the truth and of the words of Jesus according to John 14:26, to help you hear His voice according to John 10:27 and to walk in love without losing heart according to Luke 18:1, and that your faith would not fail and you would strengthen others according to Luke 22:32.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has shown His grace and nearness and how He has guarded your family. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord will continue to draw you near as you draw near to Him according to James 4:8, that He will cause His Word to go forth with power, and that you will be strengthened with all wisdom and spiritual understanding according to Col 1:9. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
