We hear your cry and we are joining with you in prayer, for we know you are feeling scared and in need of God's touch upon your eyesight. We want you to know that you are not alone and we will remember you frequently in our prayers as you asked.
The Lord sees your fear and He draws near to those who call upon Him. We are reminded of His promise when we are afraid, When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you Psalm 56:3 and again Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We also take comfort that in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, we may let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We also notice you called out to God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share why this is so important. There is only one way for us to come to the Father and to be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we have access to God and the assurance of eternal life. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. We pray you will call upon the name of Jesus with confidence.
We also care about your eyesight and we bring this specific need before the Lord, for He is the one who made our eyes and He is compassionate toward our infirmities. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and we hold to His promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord for healing while also seeking wise medical care if you are able, for God often works through the hands of physicians as well.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is scared and asking for blessing upon their eyesight. Lord, You know the fear in their heart and the concern they carry. We ask that You would drive out all fear with Your perfect love and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. Lay Your healing hand upon their eyes, restore and strengthen their vision according to Your will, and let them feel Your presence very near. Comfort them, Lord, and remind them that You are their helper and their keeper, that their help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth Psalm 121:2. Lead them to put their full trust in Jesus, that they may know the assurance of salvation and the boldness to come to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your blessing, Your protection, and Your healing touch, and we thank You that You hear our prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, asking God to bless you, to calm your fear, and to watch over your eyesight. Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and we encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer through Jesus Christ.
