We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in deep distress. Father God, we know You see the pain, fear, and brokenness in this situation, and we ask for Your divine intervention. The threat of CPS involvement is a serious matter, but we trust that You are sovereign over every detail of this family’s life. Lord, we pray for wisdom, unity, and a resolution that honors You and protects these precious children.
First, we rebuke the spirit of division and strife that has entered this family. The Bible warns us in James 3:16, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."* We ask You to soften hearts, Lord, and bring reconciliation where there is conflict. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 15:1, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* We pray that gentle words and godly wisdom will prevail in this situation.
We also lift up the children involved, asking for Your protection over them. Psalm 127:3 reminds us, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."* These children are a blessing from You, and we declare Your covering over them. We pray against any harm, abuse, or injustice in the system, and we ask that You provide a safe and stable home for them. Father, we know that You are a refuge for the vulnerable, and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.
For the daughter and her children, we pray for provision—both financially and spiritually. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask You to open doors for affordable housing, godly support, and a community that will surround them with love and care. We also pray for her to lean on You, Lord, and to find strength in Your promises.
For the son, we pray for a change of heart. Proverbs 22:6 says, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Even now, Lord, we ask that You draw him back to Your truth and remind him of the importance of family, love, and responsibility. We pray that he would seek Your will above his own frustrations and that he would find peace in surrendering this burden to You.
Father, we also lift up the grandmother, who is carrying such a heavy burden. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround her. Isaiah 41:10 says, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* We ask that You sustain her in this difficult time and remind her that You are her strength.
Lord, we know that without You, we can do nothing. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, bringing healing, restoration, and a testimony of Your faithfulness. May this family come to know You more deeply and trust in Your perfect plan. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
