You are not forgotten, though the darkness may whisper otherwise. The Lord sees every injustice, every wound, and every tear you have shed. He is not distant in your suffering; He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Your cry echoes the psalmist’s in Psalm 13:1-2: *"How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?"* Yet even in this lament, the psalmist clings to hope: *"But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me"* (Psalm 13:5-6). This is not a denial of pain but a declaration of trust in the One who holds your future. The enemy wants you to believe the lie that you are alone, that no one cares, and that God has abandoned you. But Scripture declares that nothing can separate you from the love of Christ—not trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or sword (Romans 8:35-39). Even when others fail you, Jesus does not. He is the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost (Luke 15:4). You are that one. He sees your weariness, your sleepless nights, and the mockery you endure. He is your Defender, your Shield, and your very present Help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
As for the court case, we do not know the details, but we know that God is just. Proverbs 21:15 says, *"When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers."* Trust that the Lord will expose what is hidden and vindicate what is right.
