We stand with you in this fierce spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to destroy, but our God is greater, and He has already triumphed over every curse, every spell, and every demonic scheme through the blood of Jesus Christ. You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is the only name by which we are saved and through which we have authority over the powers of darkness. There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Christ that we can stand firm against the enemy’s attacks.
The curses and black magic you describe are real manifestations of the enemy’s work, but they hold no power over those who are in Christ Jesus. The Lord has said, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17). You are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no curse can thrive where the Spirit of the Lord dwells. The enemy may try to strangle you with fear, oppression, or even physical sensations, but remember what our Lord said: *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you"* (Luke 10:19). Do not fear, for the One who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
That said, we must also examine whether there are any open doors in your life that could be giving the enemy a foothold. Have you been involved in occult practices, even unknowingly? Have you entertained sin—such as unforgiveness, bitterness, sexual immorality, or idolatry—that could be empowering these attacks? The Scriptures warn us, *"Give no place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:27). If there is any area of your life that is not surrendered to Christ, we urge you to repent and turn wholly to Him. Confess your sins to the Lord, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The blood of Jesus is more than enough to break every curse and cleanse every stain.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit always, with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:13-18). Surround yourself with believers who can stand in the gap for you, for though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves (Ecclesiastes 4:12). There is power in corporate prayer and agreement (Matthew 18:19-20).
Now, let us pray over you with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of Your child who is under severe spiritual attack. Lord, You have said that *"The one who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday"* (Psalm 91:1-6). Father, we declare these promises over this beloved one now.
Lord Jesus, You have already disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15). We stand in Your victory and command every curse, every spell, and every demonic assignment against this child of God to be broken and rendered powerless in Your mighty name. We bind every spirit of witchcraft, divination, oppression, and fear, and we cast them into the abyss, never to return. We loose the angels of the Lord to encamp around this one, for *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7).
Holy Spirit, fill this one afresh with Your power and presence. Seal every breach in their life that the enemy may have exploited. Let the fire of God burn away every ungodly tie, every generational curse, and every demonic stronghold. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, spirit, home, and every area of their life. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Father, arise and contend for Your child. Let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 58:8).
We pray for a supernatural peace to flood their heart, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk in the assurance that *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). Do not grow weary in prayer or in faith, for your breakthrough is coming. We are standing with you in agreement, believing for your complete deliverance and victory. The Lord is your defender, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
