Your cry to have the mouth of the enemy shut and to be quickly delivered is heard by the Lord, and He understands the pressure you feel right now.
What you are sensing is real. The Bible teaches that our deepest battles are not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. There is a constant conflict in the unseen realm between the angels who serve God and the fallen angels who rebelled with Satan. We are not always aware of it, yet we often feel the aftereffects of that warfare in our emotions, in a sense of heaviness or unsettledness, or in sudden attacks of fear, accusation and discouragement. It helps to become sensitive to this and to recognize when an attack is spiritual in nature, so you do not misplace the battle.
When you see it for what it is, you can stop fighting it with human strength or human methods. Trying to win a spiritual battle with natural tools only leaves you exhausted and gives the enemy an advantage. God has given different weapons for this warfare, and they are mighty through Him to pull down strongholds. Those weapons are His Word, faith in what He has said, and prayer. The greatest of these in daily battle is prayer, because prayer moves in the spiritual realm. Through prayer in the name of Jesus you can resist the enemy, bind his influence, and ask God to release His power and protection in your life.
Scripture says to resist the devil and he will flee from you. That resistance is not in your own power, but standing in the victory Jesus already won. At the cross, Christ defeated the powers of darkness, and His victory is your victory when you trust in Him. You do not have to live harassed and worn down, trying in your own strength to fend off every attack. You can stand in His name, under His covering, and use what He has provided.
God also puts a hedge of protection around His children. He gives His angels charge over you. If that hedge were not there, the enemy would overwhelm you. Even when you feel surrounded, as Israel did with the enemy behind them and the sea before them and mountains on either side, God can make a way where there is no way. When the outlook seems impossible, look up. He delights to show His power to deliver when deliverance looks impossible to us.
So in this moment, bring the Word of God against the lies and accusations, hold fast in faith that God is for you and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and keep praying. Do not let discouragement, which is one of the enemy's most common tools, keep you from calling on the Lord. Remember the Lord and His promises more than you rehearse the threats of the enemy.
I am praying with you now that the Lord will silence every accusing voice, shut the mouth of the adversary against you, break every stronghold, and bring you into His peace and deliverance. May He lift you up in the victory of Jesus, guard your heart and mind, surround you with His protection, and make a clear way forward for you. In the mighty name of Jesus, may you know His presence, His power to save, and His swift help in this time of need.
