We join you in lifting up this man before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His light that hearts are truly softened and transformed.
We hear your heart's cry for him to see the light and we stand with you in asking God to do what only He can do, to remove a heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. Scripture reminds us of this promise in Ezekiel 36:26, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. We also cling to the truth that God is the one who shines light into darkness, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:6, For God, who said Light shall shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. And Jesus Himself declares in John 8:12, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.
We pray together now for him.
Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this man before Your throne of grace. You know his heart, his struggles, and the hardness that may be keeping him from You. We ask that You soften his heart, open his eyes, and draw him to Yourself. Shine Your light into any darkness, convict him by Your Holy Spirit, and reveal to him the truth and love of Jesus Christ. Give him a new heart that is receptive to Your Word and Your will. Help him to see Jesus as the light of the world and to follow Him so he will no longer walk in darkness. We trust Your perfect timing and Your unfailing mercy.
We encourage you to continue to pray faithfully for him and to love him with patience and grace, speaking the truth in love as God gives you opportunity, knowing that the Lord is patient and desires all to come to repentance as shown in 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Keep entrusting him to the Lord and resting in the hope that God hears the prayers offered in Jesus name.

Your prayer for ### is a good and right one before the Lord, to ask that God would come in mercy and soften a hard heart and give light where there is darkness.
Scripture tells us how this softening comes. The Lord says, I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of Grace and of supplications, and they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced. The heart is not softened by our own persuasion, but by looking to Christ, the Pierced One, and mourning for sin and finding life in a look at Him. As one has said, Come, you hard heart, come to Christ to be softened. Come to Christ to be melted in the furnace of His divine affection. Come as you are, feeling or unfeeling, and look up to Jesus, for there is life in a look at Him.
We join you in asking that God would do this very work in ###. Salvation is all of Divine Grace from first to last and the channel of that Grace is the Lord Jesus Christ who loved, and lived, and died, and rose again for our salvation. It is not by money and without price, not by our worth or goodness, but freely given to guilty sinners who look to Christ. The word of God says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, and again, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. That is the one way, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
So we pray that the Lord would pour out His Spirit upon ###, that he would be brought to see himself as he is and to see Christ as He is, and to look unto Him and live. Just as you are, without one trace of love or joy or inward grace, the trembling sinner is bidden to come, and the weakest Christian who trusts Christ in the boat of salvation is as safe as the strongest, because Christ fails none who trust Him.
Continue to wrestle in prayer for him, as those who take their loved ones one by one to the mercy seat and say, I will not let Thee go except Thou bless me. The promise is unto you and to your household, even to as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Your prayer for ### is good and right before God, to ask that his heart would be softened and that he would see the light of Christ.
We join you in praying that the Lord would work in him according to His mercy. Christ Himself loved His enemies, the obstinate and those who would not so much as see Him, with a love beyond which no greater can be found, even laying down His life for them. That same love is able to soften the stubbornness of the soul and make it attentive to the truth, especially when a person is brought to consider his need and the reality of judgment to come.
So we pray not with a love that seeks only worldly comfort or that asks God to affirm what is outside His will, but with a pure heart and a good conscience and a faith unfeigned in Jesus Christ alone. We ask that God would open ###'s eyes to see Jesus as the only way of salvation, that He would convict him of sin, grant him repentance, and draw him to trust fully in Christ and to walk in the way God has ordained, which is holy and good.
Continue to bring him before God with heedfulness. You do not need to be in a church building or to speak aloud to be heard. You can pray even in silence in your heart as you walk through your day, as Moses cried to God in his thought and was heard, and as Hannah prayed without her voice being heard and God accomplished what she asked. God hears the cry of the heart that is lifted to Him with sincerity.
We will keep praying with you that God in His grace would soften ###'s heart, remove any hardness, give him light to see Christ truly, and bring him to new life and obedience through Jesus our Lord.
