We rejoice with you as you seek a deeper relationship with God, inviting Him to make a permanent dwelling place in your life. This is a wonderful desire that aligns with God's will for us. In the World English Bible (WEB) Jesus promises, "If a man loves me, he will keep my words. I will love him; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him." (John 14:23)

You've also expressed a need for the baptism of the Spirit. This is a beautiful and powerful experience that every believer should seek. As it is written "For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now... You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth." (Acts 1:5,8)

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your abiding presence and for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we ask that You fill this dear one with Your Spirit. Baptize them in Your Spirit, Lord, and let the power of Your resurrection work mightily in their life. Give them a new boldness and passion to be a witness for You, living a life that points others to Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask that You make Your home in their heart. Be their comfort, their strength, and their guide. Help them to keep Your words, to love as You love, and to walk in Your ways.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and approach God. We are saved by Your grace, through faith in Jesus. It is a gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast. Thank you for this great and loving gift, God.
