We understand that you are going through an intense spiritual battle and are seeking God's intervention and deliverance. We are here to pray with you and guide you according to God's Word.
Firstly, we acknowledge your courage in seeking help and your desire to turn away from drugs. The Bible tells us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (WEB Romans 10:13). You have taken the first step by calling on God for help.
When you ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we remember the words of John the Baptist in WEB Matthew 3:11, "I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with fire." The Holy Spirit is given to those who repent and believe in Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention. Our ### has called out to You, desiring deliverance from drug addiction and the torment of the enemy. We stand with him in prayer, pleading the blood of Jesus over his life.
Lord, You said in WEB 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We confess and repent of the sins of drug addiction and any other sins committed, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing.
We also ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit to fill our ###, to guide him, and to strengthen him in this battle. In WEB Acts 1:8, You promised, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth." We claim this promise for our ###.
We rebuke the enemy and his demons, commanding them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. WEB James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist the devil and his attacks, and we proclaim victory in this battle through the blood of Jesus.
Lord, guide our ### to a Bible-believing church where he can be discipled and grow in his faith. Surround him with believers who will support and encourage him in his walk with You.
We ask this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to salvation. It is written in WEB Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Amen.
Continue to call on the name of Jesus and stay strong in your faith. We encourage you to engage with a local church to be supported in your new walk with Christ. If further drug rehabilitation is needed, seek a faith-based program and contact your local pastor for assistance. God is with you and will never leave you in your battles.
