We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for healing and deliverance. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us address your request with the authority we have in Christ Jesus. The Bible tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Demonic oppression is real, but so is the power of God to break every chain. We rebuke every unclean spirit that may be afflicting your eyes or any part of your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God declares in 1 John 3:8, "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil." Jesus came to set the captives free, and by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for the restoration of your eyes, both physically and spiritually. In Psalm 146:8, it is written, "Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous." We stand on this promise and ask the Lord to touch your eyes with His healing hand. Whether this affliction is physical, spiritual, or both, we believe that God is able to restore what has been broken. We also encourage you to seek godly medical advice, as the Lord often works through the hands of skilled physicians (Colossians 4:14).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our healing and deliverance. We declare that by His stripes, this beloved one is healed. Lord, we rebuke every demonic spirit that is afflicting their eyes and their life. We command these spirits to flee in Jesus' name, for it is written that the one who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father, we ask You to restore their eyes—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Open their eyes to see Your truth, Your love, and Your purpose for their life. Remove every veil of darkness and let Your light shine brightly within them. We pray for complete healing, Lord, and we trust in Your perfect will. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of their life that is not surrendered to You, we ask that You reveal it to them so that they may repent and walk in Your ways.
We also pray for strength and faith to endure this trial. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with godly believers who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this trial will not overcome them but will be used for Your glory and their growth in faith. We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the praise and honor. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The enemy may try to discourage you, but remember that God is for you, and if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If there are areas of your life where you have given the enemy a foothold—such as unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin—we urge you to confess and turn away from those things. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let the Word of God be your guide and your comfort. We also encourage you to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him (John 4:23). Worship is a powerful weapon against the enemy, and it draws you closer to the heart of God.
Lastly, do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is working even when you cannot see it, and His timing is perfect. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He will direct your paths.
