Heavenly Father

[Dedicated]

Dear God, We pray to you so often for so much and yet what you ask of is in return seems so small.

You want us to love you.

You want us to obey you.

Please take good care of us for we love you and we try to obey you. Please show us the way to serve you best.

I hear some on the site pray for their looks or something that seems frivolous to me.

They pray for forgiveness if they have broken a commandment. I hope they prayed.

They pray because they are lonely.

They pray because they are broke.

They pray because they are jobless.

Some have given up much for others while others seem to take take take.

God, while others were crying for jobs, my husband walked away from his job to stay home and help take care of our son.

We said we would live off our savings until SS kicked in. We have never regretted it. We learned to live with less.

We sold much of our belongings. Yardsales and donated. We moved. Anything to cut back expenses and make our savings stretch till retirement checks started. Over two years later. SS checks have started and yes things financially seem better. But everyone cannot do that. So please help those that cannot. Please help them find work or find a better job. Help their loved ones that depend on them.

In the name of Jesus we pray to you heavenly Father. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
