Heavenly Father, I have been through such trials and suffering in the last year. One diagnosis and hospitalization after another... I am ashamed that I no longer have the strength to bear the cross you have given me. Please open the heart of the man who loves me and show him he need not fear his ability to stand by my side. Help him believe he can make the sacrifices that are required for a future with me. Remind him of the unique beauty of our love and draw him back to our love. Without him, my world is black, but for the candle of my faith in you.
