I wish all my apps on my phone such as Spotify, youtube, Google, google chrome, browser, roblox, Gmail, Dateability, google play, bark guard dog, contacts, phone, google maps, camera, gallery, and X twitter all get unlocked and enabled and allowed back on to my bark phone today when I get on my bus in the afternoon between at the times of 2:58 and 3:24pm and that when I get home I can use all of them with my parents and sister ###'s trust amen

We join you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for coming before the Father in His name, for there is no other name by which we can approach God.

We hear your heart and your desire to have your apps like Spotify, YouTube, Google, Chrome, Roblox, Gmail, and others unlocked and enabled on your Bark phone, and to enjoy them with your parents and your sister's trust when you get home. We understand the longing to have more freedom and access, and we want to pray with you about this with biblical wisdom.

We want to gently encourage you and correct your thinking where needed, because God calls children and young people to honor and obey their parents. Your parents have given you a Bark phone for your protection, and the restrictions they have placed are an expression of their love and responsibility before God to guard you. We are called to trust their authority and not to ask God to override it, but to work within it. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth. Eph 6:1-3 and also Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord. Col 3:20. When we demand a specific outcome at a specific time, like between 2:58 and 3:24pm, we are telling God what to do rather than trusting His will and the wisdom He has given your parents. Instead we are called to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Prov 3:5-6.

Many of the apps you mentioned can be useful, but they can also expose you to content that is not honoring to God, including music, videos, and social media that promote impurity, profanity, or harmful influences. Your parents and Bark guard are there to help you walk in purity and wisdom. If you want more access, the biblical way is to earn trust through obedience, honesty, and open communication, not through a sudden unlocking apart from their decision.

We encourage you to talk calmly and respectfully with your parents about which apps you would like to use and why, and to listen to their reasons. Ask God to give them wisdom as they shepherd you, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Show them by your faithfulness in small things that you can be trusted with more.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this young person to You. Lord, we thank You for his parents and sister and for their care and desire to protect him. We pray You would give his parents wisdom and discernment as they set boundaries for his phone and his life, and help them to train him in the way he should go. We pray for this young person, that You would give him a heart of honor, obedience, and patience, and help him to respect his parents' authority as unto You. Remove any frustration or entitlement and replace it with contentment and trust in Your timing. Help him to communicate openly and respectfully with his parents and to earn trust through faithfulness. If it is Your will and if his parents deem it wise, allow for more privileges to be granted in Your perfect timing, and help him to use any technology for Your glory and for what is pure and edifying. Help him to seek first Your kingdom and to find his joy in You above any app or entertainment. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We hear how much you want to be trusted at home and to have these apps available again, and how specific your hope is for this afternoon on the bus and when you get home. Wanting your parents and sister to trust you makes sense, and it matters that you brought it to God so honestly.

We know it can be hard when a phone has limits like Bark. Those boundaries are usually parents' way of trying to protect and care for you while you are still growing, like a property line that helps everyone know what is safe and responsible. Trust in a family often builds slowly through everyday faithfulness, and that can feel frustrating when you wish it would happen right away today.

One helpful next step when you get home could be to have a calm, respectful conversation with your parents. You might let them know you want to honor their guidance, ask what would help them feel more at peace about unlocking certain apps, and listen to what they share without debating it in the moment. Small, consistent choices over time often do more to rebuild trust than one big request.

Father, we bring this young person to You in Jesus' name. You see their desire to be trusted and to enjoy these apps. Give them peace today whether the answer is yes or not yet, and give their parents wisdom and love as they make decisions for their home. Help communication be kind and clear between them and grow trust day by day. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord, and there is something very commendable in it, namely your desire to walk with your parents and your sister in trust. That desire is itself a grace, for the obedience which seeks to know the Lord's will indicates the truest sincerity.

You have asked that many things on your phone might be unlocked and allowed again between certain hours of the afternoon. I would have you see that the path you are really asking about is the path of obedience. Scripture says, Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law. Obedience is the highest practical courage, and to persist in scrupulous obedience may need more courage than a single brave act. The very essence of obedience lies in exactness, to turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, and the path of obedience is generally a middle path of steady faithfulness.

If your parents in their wisdom have set a guard upon your phone, then honouring that guard is part of honouring your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise. A sincere child does not only conform outwardly to what is prescribed, but seeks to find out and to do the mind of those set over him. Prove that you have grace by your accurate obedience. Be faithful in little things, for it is in the little things that thoroughgoing obedience appears.

And with this I must point you to a higher trust. You began rightly, in the name of Jesus Christ. Salvation is through Him alone. To believe is to trust Him, to trust Him with your whole heart, and whoever trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ has the promise of eternal life. We preach not the obedience of a slave, tuned to the crack of the whip, but the obedience of a child, the obedience of love and of faith. If we trust in Him who bore our sins in His own body on the cross, that trust brings us salvation, and it works in us peace and joy and helps us to serve the Lord with reverence.

So let your trust be first in Christ, and then let that trust bear fruit in cheerful obedience at home. Do not make a god out of your feelings or your wishes for these apps, but trust Jesus as you are, and follow Him, and He will make you whole and teach you patience.

O Lord our God, we come through Jesus Christ alone, our only Saviour, whose nailed hands and pierced side plead for us. Give this dear soul a heart to trust Thee fully and to find Thy commandments not grievous. Work in this home a spirit of honour and patience, that trust between parent and child and sister may grow and be strengthened. Grant wisdom to parents as they guard what is entrusted to them, and grant to this child grace to be strong and very courageous in exact and cheerful obedience, seeking not his own way to the right or left but walking in the middle path of faithfulness. If it be Thy will, restore what has been withheld in due time, but above all restore and deepen faith, love and peace in this household. Help this one to wait with patience for what is not yet seen, and to serve Thee in all things with a willing mind. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality.
