We have been lifting up your request that the Lord would cleanse our lips of deceit and flattery and words meant only to manipulate and that He would give us wisdom to know when to speak and what to say so that our words bring healing rather than hurt. We have prayed with you that our answers would reflect His integrity and that our words would be truth wrapped in genuine love and affection and be a blessing to those who hear them, remembering the word in Proverbs 24:26 that an honest answer is like a kiss of friendship. We have also asked that our speech would reflect Jesus who is the Bread of Heaven and the Word of Life.
