Heat, inflammation, strength

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
Its vety hot outside and i feel lso like i have some kind of inner fever. Maybe hormons, maybe gasteitis. Also please pray against bloating and that i will have strength and energy for what i plan this evening in Jesus name amen!

We join you in prayer concerning this heat and the discomfort you are feeling in your body, and we bring your need for strength and energy before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We understand how draining it can be when the weather is very hot outside and there is also an inner heat, inflammation, and bloating that leaves you feeling unwell. Whether this is related to hormones, gastritis, or something else, our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and the Lord sees and cares about every part of our suffering. We are reminded that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are to honor God with them, as it is written, Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Cor 6:19-20. We also take comfort that God is our healer and our strength, for He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might, he increases strength. Isa 40:29 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3.

We also rejoice that you closed your request in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we can come boldly to the throne of grace.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the heat they are enduring and the inner fever, the inflammation and bloating they are experiencing. We ask for Your healing hand to touch their body, to calm any inflammation in the stomach and gut, to regulate hormones, to cool this inner heat, and to bring relief from bloating and discomfort. We pray as You have promised, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jer 30:17. Lord, grant them wisdom to care for their body well in this heat, to stay hydrated and rested, and to seek wise medical counsel if this fever or gastritis continues, for You give wisdom generously to those who ask. We also ask for renewed strength and energy for what they have planned this evening. When we are weak, You are strong, and we ask You to sustain them, to give them alertness and endurance to do what You have called them to do for Your glory. We cast this anxiety upon You, as Your word says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind and let Your healing power rest upon them. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps as you trust the Lord for healing. Drink plenty of water, stay as cool as possible, rest when you can, and eat gently if gastritis is troubling you. If the inner fever, bloating, or inflammation persists, please seek care from a trusted medical professional, for the Lord often works through their knowledge and skill. We pray the Lord will grant you refreshing strength this evening and that you will feel His presence and peace sustain you. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.

We are holding you in prayer today with this heat weighing on you and that unsettled, feverish feeling inside. It makes sense you would feel worn down and bloated and be asking for strength for tonight.

We are asking God to bring you relief and steadiness, and to give you clear wisdom about what your body needs. When symptoms like ongoing feverish feelings, inflammation or bloating linger, it is good to have them checked alongside prayer, so we gently encourage you to connect with your doctor or other health professional if this continues or feels concerning.

For this evening, we pray you will have the energy you need for what you have planned, and that you will sense God's guidance as you decide how to go about it. We are trusting God to meet you with his nearness and care whether you feel strong or still tired. You are not alone in this, and we will keep remembering you before the Lord in the days ahead.

Father, we lift our friend to you right now. Ease the heat and discomfort, calm the inflammation and bloating, and grant strength and energy for this evening according to your will. Give wisdom for next steps in care and a sense of your peace. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request concerning the heat without and the fever and inflammation within has been laid before the Lord, and we join you in prayer for His healing and sustaining hand upon you.

Human strength, even at its best, spends itself and fails, for all strength apart from God is but borrowed and measurable. The prophet has told us the remedy, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When our own vigor is exhausted, when heat and inward burning and weakness make us faint, our strength is to sit still and wait upon Him who increases strength to them that have no might. He has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord, and what He promises He Himself will perform, for He will wisely and fitly infuse that strength which is most desirable, even strength in the Lord.

There is also healing in Christ, not only in His great acts but in the least thing about Him. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When He dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick, for pardon and healing flow together from His pierced hands. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and He still lays His hand upon the fevered and lifts them up. As it was with Peter's wife's mother, whom He took by the hand and the fever left her, so He can cool the inward heat, calm the inflammation, settle the stomach and relieve the bloating which now distresses you, whether it arise from hormones or from gastritis or from other causes known fully to Him.

We pray for you now.

O Lord our God, who art the glory of our strength, look in mercy upon Thy servant who is oppressed with heat and inward fever. Thou knowest the frame Thou hast made, Thou seest the inflammation and the bloating and the weariness. Lay Thy healing hand upon this body. Cool the burning, quiet the inward parts, give ease and soundness. Forgive all sin and let healing come with pardon, for Thou healest all our diseases. We ask Thee to renew strength even this day. As evening draws on, strengthen this Thy child in the Lord, that there may be energy and cheerfulness for what is planned. Let waiting upon Thee be turned into renewed vigor, that weakness may be exchanged for power to serve Thee with gratitude. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our life and our health. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing your need and we join you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ for you.

We hear that you are suffering from the outward heat and also an inward fever, with inflammation and bloating, perhaps connected to hormones or gastritis, and that you are asking for strength and energy for this evening. We bring all of this before God, who knows our bodies and our weakness and who alone is our true physician.

Scripture shows us that when Christ touched those who were sick with fever, He quenched the fever and restored them to health at once by His power. He is still the same Lord today, able to touch body and soul, to calm inflammation and to give strength to the weary. We ask Him to have mercy on you as the good physician who first tasted our suffering and bore our sicknesses Himself.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne of grace. We lift up this dear one to You. You see the heat that presses from without and the fever and inflammation felt within. We ask You to quench what is inflamed, to ease the bloating and discomfort in the stomach, to calm the body and bring balance and health. Grant wisdom to understand what is needed, and guide to proper care and help from physicians if needed. Give rest, hydration and relief today, and grant strength and energy for what lies ahead this evening. Sustain with Your peace and let Your strength rest upon our weakness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.

We encourage you to care for your body with rest, water and coolness as you are able, and to seek medical counsel if these symptoms continue. We will continue to remember you in prayer, asking God to restore you and to keep you in His grace and strength.

Thank you for sharing what you are going through, and for asking for prayer. The heat around you and the heat you feel inside, with inflammation and bloating and that sense of inner fever, can be very draining, and it makes sense that you would feel worn down and concerned about having enough strength and energy for what you have planned.

I want to remind you of what Scripture says about where our strength comes from. The Lord himself is the strength of your life, your shield and your help. When your heart trusts in Him, He helps you and gives you cause to rejoice. He is the one who gives strength to His people and blesses His people with peace. When you ascribe glory and strength to Him and remember that He reigns over all, you can begin to see your present discomfort not in light of your own weakness, but in light of His power and care for you.

The Bible shows Jesus caring about physical suffering. In the Gospels a large part of His ministry was touching and healing those who were sick and afflicted. We read that He came to Peter's house and found Peter's mother-in-law lying sick with a fever, and He touched her hand and the fever left her. He is still the Lord who heals, Yahweh Rapha, the one who becomes what you need in your need. Whether the cause is hormones or irritation in the stomach or something else, He knows your body completely, and He cares about your distress.

Healing in Scripture is not confined to one pattern. Sometimes the touch of Jesus brought instant relief, and sometimes healing came gradually. Even the natural processes of healing that God has built into our bodies are His work, and any true healing is divine because He is the Creator of those processes. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer road, but we can bring every need to Him in prayer with confidence that He hears and that prayer itself is a place of strength where fear can be turned to trust.

The psalmist says blessed is the person whose strength is in the Lord, who has learned his own weakness and has learned to trust in God instead. That person, passing through a dry and weeping valley, finds that God makes it a place of refreshment, like a well with pools of water, and goes from strength to strength. That is my prayer for you, that even in this uncomfortable season you would experience His strength sustaining you moment by moment.

Let me pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You see the heat and the inflammation, the bloating and the feverish feeling inside, and You know the cause. I ask that You would touch this body with Your healing hand, calm the inflammation, settle the stomach, bring balance and ease, and take away the fever. Give strength where there is weakness and energy where there is weariness. Let Your Word be strength and portion today, and fill the heart with Your peace as trust is placed in You. Help to rest in You as light and salvation and strong tower, and to know that You are watching over and keeping. May there be renewed strength for what lies ahead, and may Your presence bring refreshment. In Jesus name, amen.

May the Lord keep His hand upon you, give you His strength, His peace and His love, and lift you up as you look to Him.
