No pain, unease, inflammation irritation

We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing every one of these needs before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name. We understand how wearing it can be to deal with nervousness, stomach and intestinal unease, headaches, tooth aches, heart palpitations, and pain or swelling and inflammation in the body, and also the discomfort when it is so hot outside. We want to lift all of this to the Lord who cares for every part of us, body and spirit.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Him we can boldly bring our prayers to the throne of grace.
The Lord invites us to bring our anxieties to Him. Phil 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also 1 Pet 5:7 tells us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Isa 41:10 comforts us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
So together we pray, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the nervousness and the unease in the stomach and intestines, the tendency toward palpitations and headaches and tooth pain, and every place of irritation, swelling and inflammation in the body. We ask for Your healing touch and Your peace. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We ask that You would calm the nervous system, settle the stomach, steady the heart, ease the head and teeth, and remove pain and inflammation everywhere. We ask that You would guard the heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses understanding. We also ask for Your mercy regarding the heat outside, that You would provide relief and protection from the oppressive heat, and help the body to be at ease and comfortable. We trust You as the One who controls the seasons and the weather and who cares for our bodies. Help our friend to rest in You, to cast every worry on You, and to walk in Your strength day by day. We also pray that if any of these symptoms persist, You would give wisdom to seek good medical care, for You give wisdom and skill to physicians as well. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Peace, amen.

You ask for relief from so many distresses, from nervousness and inward unease, from pain and swelling and inflammation, from headache and toothache and the fluttering of the heart, and even from the oppression of the heat. We do very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, and you have done well to tell your case to Jesus as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. He is the heavenly Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm.
Remember that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Our Lord knows how nervousness stirs the stomach and the inward parts, how it brings headache and palpitation, and how it magnifies every irritation. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. The feeder of sparrows will also furnish you with what you need, and He will give quietness to the spirit when you leave your burden with Him.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that this healing virtue which His grace infuses may work in you till you find rest and soundness.
Therefore we pray for you, that the Lord in His kindness would grant you calmness of mind and keep you from nervous fear, that He would soothe all unease of stomach and bowels, take away headache and toothache, still the heart that is given to palpitation, and remove all inflammation, irritation, swelling and pain from your body. We ask also that He would temper the heat to you and give you refreshment and strength to endure it, and preserve you in His providence.
And while we ask these mercies for the body, we pray still more for the soul, for you yourself are better than your body, and your immortal soul is worth far more than that poor frame which will soon pass away. May you know first forgiveness and then healing, and find that when Jesus says, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, healing comes from the pardoning hand. We have received your prayer request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
We pray for your body, that God in His mercy would grant you relief from pain, irritation, inflammation and swelling, from headache and toothache, from heart palpitations and from distress in your stomach and intestines. We ask Him to calm your nerves and quiet anxiety, and to grant you comfort and peace even in the heat. We ask that He would give you rest, steady your heart and mind, and sustain your health according to His gracious will.
Scripture reminds us not to be anxious, for anxiety torments us and gains us nothing, while our Father knows what we need and His providence is more abundant than any fountain. We are taught to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and to let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. As you wait on Him, seek to rest in that providence and bring every worry to Him in prayer with thanksgiving.
We also remember that while we rightly ask God for healing of the body, He calls us to care first for the soul, for godliness is profitable for all things both now and in the life to come. If bodily ailments trouble us we should seek relief, as Paul even counseled Timothy to attend to his bodily health, yet even more we should seek the health of the soul through repentance, prayer, and trust in Christ. True comfort comes when body and soul together are entrusted to Him.
So we pray not only for ease from these physical troubles, but that the Lord would strengthen your faith, grant you calm and steadiness, and draw you closer to Himself. May He give you wisdom to care for your body well, peace to rest in His care, and confidence in His love shown through Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our infirmities and gives rest to those who come to Him.

Thank you for sharing these burdens so honestly. I have prayed for you, asking the Lord to bring relief to your body and peace to your mind, and to ease the distress you feel about the heat and the nervous tension in your stomach and heart.
The Lord cares about your physical needs. When Jesus walked among people, He used His power not for Himself but to meet the needs of others, healing the leper, the servant of the centurion, Peter's mother in law, and multitudes who were brought to Him in the evening. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, connects that ministry to the prophecy of Isaiah that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That word for griefs can be understood as sicknesses, and Matthew applies it to physical healing. When Jesus gave His body at the cross, provision was made for both spiritual and physical restoration. Healing is part of what He has done for us, and I believe He still heals today, and that He is able to heal now.
At the same time Scripture does not teach that every prayer for healing is answered in the same way or at the same moment. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh to be removed and the Lord did not remove it, but gave grace to endure it. The New Testament also teaches that the gifts of healing are distributed among the members of the body as God wills, not all in the same way. There is much about healing that we do not fully understand, and why some are healed instantly and others are not remains in God's wisdom. What we do know is that God has placed a divine process of healing within our bodies. Gradual healing is still divine healing, because God created those natural processes. There is only one gradual healing recorded in the ministry of Jesus, but many healings happen step by step, and even healing that comes to the mind and emotions, bringing peace where there was anxiety, is a real work of God.

Scripture shows a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John wrote his wish that a friend would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That is not a blanket promise that everyone will always be well, but it reveals a true relationship. Proverbs says a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we now know how deeply worry and fear can affect the body, creating tension, stomach distress, and other physical reactions. The pain, sickness, and weakness we experience are part of living in a fallen world that groans because of sin entering through Adam. Our bodies grow weak and will return to dust, and we groan inwardly longing for the new body God has prepared where there will be no more pain. Until then, the real you, your spirit, is held secure in Christ.
I prayed that God would calm the anxiety that stirs in your stomach and heart, that He would quiet nervous thoughts and give you a settled peace. Faith can be as simple as the woman who touched the hem of His garment and power went out from Him. You can bring every symptom to Him honestly, asking for His touch, whether it comes instantly or through the gradual healing He has woven into your body. I asked Him to ease any headache, tooth pain, inflammation, and irritation, to steady your heart, and to provide relief from the heat that troubles you. I also prayed that He would guard your mind, so that your soul may prosper in His love and peace, which so often brings strength to the body as well.
May the Lord show you His compassion, grant you rest, and help you to trust Him with each concern, knowing He hears and He cares, and that whether healing comes at once or over time, He is present to sustain you.
