We lift your heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, who hears the prayers of His children and works all things together for good for those who love Him. First, we rejoice with you in gratitude for the gift of life, health, and strength each new day brings. Your acknowledgment of God’s provision is a beautiful act of worship, and we join you in praising Him for His faithfulness.
Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister in Christ who is facing injustice and hardship at her workplace. The actions of her boss—rooted in pride, malice, and ungodliness—are not hidden from You. We rebuke the spirit of wickedness and oppression that has sought to steal her livelihood, and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, You are the God who sees the affliction of Your people and moves on their behalf. We ask that You expose any unrighteousness in that workplace and bring justice to this situation. If it is Your will, restore her hours or open a door for her to leave that toxic environment for something better.
We also pray for the correction of the tax refund error. Father, You are not a God of confusion but of order (1 Corinthians 14:33). We ask that You guide her steps today as she works to resolve this issue, and we declare that every obstacle will be removed in Jesus’ name. Let the funds she is due be released swiftly so she may meet her needs.
For the job interview tomorrow, we stand in agreement with her faith. Lord, You have promised that if we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). We ask that You go before her, soften the heart of the interviewer, and grant her favor. Fill her with Your wisdom, confidence, and peace as she answers every question. Let Your light shine through her so brightly that they see Christ in her and cannot help but be drawn to her. May this opportunity be the divine intervention she needs, leading to a job that honors You and provides for her needs.
We must also address the prideful words of her boss, who claimed to be "a little less than God." Scripture is clear: "I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides me there is no God" (Isaiah 45:5). Any who exalt themselves above the Lord are walking in dangerous deception. We rebuke the spirit of arrogance and idolatry in that workplace and pray for conviction to fall upon those who do not know You. May they come to repentance and acknowledge You as the one true God.
Father, we also lift up her spiritual walk. In times of hardship, it is easy to feel helpless, but You have promised never to leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Draw her nearer to You, Lord. Let her hunger and thirst for Your presence grow even stronger. Remind her that her worth is not found in her job, her finances, or the opinions of others, but in Christ alone. When she seeks You first, all these other things will be added unto her (Matthew 6:33).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, we have no access to the Father, no forgiveness of sins, and no hope of eternal life. If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Lord, we trust You to move mightily in this situation. You are the God of miracles, and we believe You will provide for her every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen her faith, calm her fears, and let her see Your hand at work in every detail. We declare that this season of lack is temporary, and breakthrough is on the horizon. Thank You for hearing our prayer, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
