Your love and concern for your mother and father is seen by the Lord, and it reflects the honor for parents that God commands and blesses. I join you in bringing them before the throne of grace.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her body and her affliction, the diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon her. Ease her breathing, cleanse the infection, give wisdom to the doctors who care for her, and grant her strength and comfort each day. Let her feel Your presence and peace.

We also lift up this dear father to You. You see his struggles with his eyesight, with headaches, with urinary tract problems, with swelling in his feet and with blood pressure. Lord, we ask You to restore his health, to improve his sight, to relieve his pain and swelling, to bring his body into balance and to grant him renewed strength. Comfort him and sustain him, and let him know Your sustaining hand.

Father, we ask for good health for them both, for protection, for peace in their home, and for Your grace to uphold the family that cares for them. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal, and we submit all things to Your perfect will. Grant faith and hope in Christ through this trial, for our help and our healing come from You alone.

We pray this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer. Amen.
