Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have received your prayer request and we are joining you in prayer before our Father in heaven who cares for both body and soul.
We pray that the Lord in His mercy would ease the pain in your right hip, bring healing to your liver, and guide you toward restored health. We ask Him to give wisdom to those caring for you, to help you reach a healthy weight in a way that strengthens your body, and to grant you peace in the night so that you can relax, sleep well and be truly rested.
Scripture reminds us that Christ says, Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. There remains a rest for the people of God, and the Lord who makes us to lie down in green pastures and leads us beside still waters is able to quiet our hearts and give us sleep as a gift from His hand.
We also remember that God sometimes uses bodily trials to draw our souls closer to Him and to teach us to depend on Him more fully. Whatever the cause of suffering, He calls us to turn to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and healing, to trust Him, to cast all our cares on Him, and to walk in His ways with patience and hope.
So we pray that you will know the comfort of Christ very near to you, that He will lessen your pain, strengthen your body, calm your mind at bedtime, and fill you with trust in His goodness. May He grant you deep and peaceful rest and renew your strength day by day.
We will continue to pray for you. May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you His peace in Jesus name. Amen.
