Beloved of All
Your care for your mother and father and your desire to bring their needs before the Lord is itself an act of honoring them as God commands when He says to honor your father and your mother. That honor is precious to Him, and He hears the prayers offered in love for them.
We are joining you in prayer for both of them. For your mother we ask the Lord for healing from diabetes and from the fungal infection in her lungs, for strength in her body, for wisdom and skill for the doctors who care for her, and for peace and comfort for her and for you as you walk with her through this illness. For your father we pray for his eyesight to be restored and protected, for relief from headaches, for healing of the urinary tract problems, for the swelling in his feet to subside, for his blood pressure to be steadied, and for renewed health and strength day by day.
We know that God is even more loving than any earthly parent and that every good gift of healing comes from His hand. We pray that He would touch your mother and father with His mercy, sustain them in weakness, and draw your whole family closer to Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. Continue to seek faithful medical care for them while trusting the Lord with their lives, and may He give you all patience, hope, and assurance of His presence.
Father in heaven, we lift up this mother and father to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Have mercy upon them, grant healing according to Your will, ease their pain, restore what is broken, and let them know Your love and peace. Give this family strength to care for one another with love that covers and endures. Amen.
