We are joining together with you in prayer for your precious mother and father, bringing their health needs before our heavenly Father who cares deeply for them and for you.
We know how heavy it is to watch parents suffer with ongoing health struggles, and we are reminded in Scripture that our God is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And in Exodus 15:26 we are told, for I am Yahweh who heals you. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We pray with faith believing that by his wounds we are healed as Isaiah 53:5 teaches, while also trusting in His perfect will and timing.
We lift up your mother to the Lord together. We pray for her diabetes to be brought under control and for her body to be strengthened, and we ask the Lord to touch her lungs and completely clear the fungal infection. We pray for clean, clear breathing, for restoration of lung tissue, for wisdom for her doctors, and for effective treatment with no complications. We ask God to give her comfort, rest, and peace as she heals.
We also lift up your father. We bring before the Lord his eyesight and ask for it to be improved and restored, his headaches to be lifted, his urinary tract problems to be healed, the swelling in his feet to subside, and his blood pressure to be stabilized and brought into a healthy range. We pray for his whole body to be renewed in strength. 3 John 1:2 says, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers, and that is our prayer for him, for complete health and well being. We also pray as James 5:15 encourages, that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek the Physician, and how gracious it is that we have a heavenly Physician whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only in His fruit but in the least thing about Him there is healing virtue. As the prophet has said, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction for His people.
We pray now for your mother in her affliction with diabetes and this fungal infection in the lungs. May the Lord who breathed life into man lay His healing hand upon her lungs and restore her breath, and may He give wisdom to those who care for her, that every means used may be blessed to her recovery. We pray that her body, so wearied by this disease, may know the touch of Him who took the sick by the hand and lifted them up.
