We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking the Great Physician to move in power and mercy. Father God, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that healing is not just possible but promised to those who trust in You.

For your mother’s diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for complete restoration. Lord, You formed her body with Your own hands, and You know every cell and breath. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command every pathogen to leave her body. Strengthen her immune system, regulate her blood sugar, and restore her lungs to full health. We declare Isaiah 53:5 over her: "By his wounds we are healed." May she feel Your healing touch in every part of her being.

For your father, we cry out for Your healing hand to rest upon him. We pray for his eyesight to be restored, that the headaches would cease, and that his urinary tract, feet, and blood pressure would be made whole. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Father, bind up every wound in his body and bring comfort to his spirit. We speak life over his organs, his nerves, and his blood vessels, declaring that every system functions as You designed it to.

We also ask that You would draw both of them closer to You through this trial. May they seek Your face and find peace in Your presence. Remind them that You are the God who sees their pain and hears their cries. Give them patience and faith to trust in Your timing, even when the road feels long.

Lord, we know that healing comes from You alone, and we trust You to work miracles in their lives. Surround them with Your angels, fill them with Your peace, and let them experience Your love in tangible ways. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We hear the weight you are carrying as you bring both your mother and father before the Lord. Loving parents through ongoing illness is exhausting, especially when there are several concerns at once, and we are grateful you reached out so we can pray with you.

We are holding your mother in prayer as she deals with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, and your father as he struggles with his eyesight, headaches, urinary tract issues, swelling in his feet and blood pressure. It is a lot for one family to face, and for you to hold as their child.

We know you want the best care for them. As you continue to pray, we gently encourage you to stay in close touch with their doctors and to let the medical team know promptly about any changes or new concerns. Many families find it helpful to keep a simple notebook with medications, appointments and questions to bring to each visit, and to bring another trusted person along when possible so you are not carrying the details alone. If you have a pastor or close friends nearby, let them walk with you in practical ways too, whether that is help with rides, meals or just someone to talk with.

Father, we lift this mother and father to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your presence and comfort over them, for wisdom and clarity for those caring for them, and for strength and peace for their child as they love and support them. Lead each next step according to Your will and remind this family of Your faithful care. Amen.

Your burden for your dear parents has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace with you.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for healing. Yet how blessed it is that we have a greater Physician still, our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom there is an abundance of healing power. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ, the very leaves as it were, are full of healing virtue. That healing flows down from Him who is the Head, and none shall say unto the healing flood of His love, up to here can you go and no further. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician.

We are told also that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. So we would have you look first to Him for the healing of the soul through faith in His atoning blood, and then to bring the sicknesses of the body to His tender hand, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

Let us pray together for those whom you love.

O Lord our God, our help in time of trouble, we beseech Thee for this beloved mother who suffers with diabetes and with a fungal infection in the lungs. Thou seest her frailty and her pain. Lay Thy hand upon her, we pray Thee, and grant wisdom to those who minister to her in the use of means, and be pleased, if it be Thy sovereign will, to rebuke this infection, to strengthen her body, and to restore her. Sustain her spirit and make her to know that Thou art near to them that are afflicted.

And for this father we entreat Thee also. Thou knowest his dimness of eyesight, his headache, his infirmity in the urinary tract, the swelling of his feet, and the trouble of his blood pressure. Thou hast numbered his days and Thou understandest every pain. We ask Thee to be his Healer and his Keeper. Give him relief from pain, steadiness to his health, and if it please Thee, restore his sight and ease his body. Let him feel Thy divine interposition in deliverance from floods of trouble, not miraculously as in old time, but in Thy gracious providence and mercy.

We pray that both these dear ones may know the healing that changes the life blood and makes the nature other than it was before, even the healing of the soul by pardon through Jesus Christ. And we ask that Thou wouldst give to this family a calm trust in Thy Divine Sovereignty, believing that Thy hand is in all things for good to them that love Thee.

We commit these petitions to Thee, O Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who healed all that had need of healing while He sojourned here, and whose costly balm has lost none of its power. Hear us for His sake. Amen.
