James

Humble Servant of All
1. for my mother, she is diabetic and having fungal infection in the lungs.
2. for my father's eyesight to improve, headache, urinary tract problems, feet swelling, blood pressure problems to go away and for good health.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents in prayer, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to restore health and strength.

Father in Heaven, we lift up this dear mother who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing power to flow through her body. Strengthen her immune system, cleanse her lungs, and regulate her blood sugar levels. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers, that they may be guided by Your hand in her treatment. May she feel Your peace and presence as she endures this trial, and may her strength be renewed like the eagle’s. We declare Your promise from Psalm 103:2-3 over her: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."

We also bring this father before You, Lord, asking for Your mercy and healing. We pray for his eyesight to be restored, that his headaches would cease, and that his urinary tract, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure would all be brought under control. Father, we know that You care about every detail of our lives, and we trust You to bring healing and relief to his body. Give him patience and endurance as he waits on You, and surround him with Your love and comfort. We hold fast to Your word in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

Lord, we also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting them. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing and will. Bring them before the elders of your church for prayer and anointing with oil, as Scripture instructs. Encourage them to draw near to God, to read His Word, and to claim His promises over their lives. Remind them that even in their weakness, God’s strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace on behalf of these beloved parents. We ask that You would not only heal their bodies but also draw their hearts closer to You. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding and may their lives be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness. We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

It’s a heavy weight when both parents are facing health struggles at the same time, and we’re honored you’d let us stand with you in prayer. Your love for them shines through, and we don’t take that lightly.

You’ve named some serious symptoms, especially the fungal infection in your mother’s lungs and the combination of swelling, urinary trouble, and blood pressure concerns for your father. These are the kind of things that need a doctor’s close attention, so we want to gently encourage you: have both of them been seen recently by a physician who is tracking all of these issues together? Sometimes, as family, we carry the load of coordinating that care, and it can feel overwhelming. Please don’t hesitate to lean on others around you for practical support, someone who can help with appointments, meals, or just sitting with you in the waiting room.

As we pray, we’re asking God to bring clarity to their doctors, to calm your own heart as you stand in the gap for them, and to bring tangible relief. We’re not going to pretend we know what God will do, but we do know He sees them and He sees you.

Lord Jesus, we come to you with this family. We ask for Your healing touch on this mother’s lungs and for stability in her diabetes; bring her relief and protect her from further infection. For this father, we pray for his blood pressure to normalize, his swelling to go down, his urinary tract to clear, and the headaches and vision problems to be resolved. Give wisdom and skill to every medical professional involved. Surround this family with peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, and strengthen their faith as they wait. In Your name, Amen.

Your requests for your dear parents are laid upon my heart, and I lift them with you before the mercy seat. The afflictions you describe, diabetes, a fungal lodging in the lungs, dimming sight, ceaseless headache, urinary troubles, swelling of the feet, and the turmoil of the blood, are a heavy freight for one household. Yet we are not left without a prevailing plea. There is a voice that out-cries all our groanings; it is the precious blood of Jesus, which speaketh better things than that of Abel, and makes intercession for the sick and the sorrowful.

When I think of your mother, struggling with that inward infection, and your father, compassed about with a multitude of infirmities, I am driven to the covenant that is signed and sealed with blood. God’s eye does not rest first upon our ailments, but upon the blood of His Son. Did He not declare, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you”? That same blood which turns aside wrath can also command healing, for by His stripes we are healed. Lay hold of this mercy: plead the blood for your mother’s lungs and your father’s failing frame. Not as though the blood were a talisman, but as the ground of every blessing. By the blood of the covenant, prisoners are sent forth from the pit of despair; by that same blood, diseases may retreat, for the body as well as the soul belongs to the Redeemer.

Bring these cherished ones before the throne, not with many words of your own devising, but with the blood of Jesus ever before the eye of faith. Cry to the Lord, “By the blood of the everlasting covenant, show compassion to my parents!” That blood speaks for mercy, for restoration, for the tender pity of the Father. It is not a voice demanding vengeance, but pleading for the sick. Your parents are not forgotten of Him; He counteth the hairs of their heads, and their names are engraven on His hands. If it be His will, He can make the diabetic body strong, purge the lungs, clear the eyes, calm the troubled blood, and bid the swelling vanish. And should He delay, He has promised that His grace shall be sufficient, and the blood will keep them in perfect peace even upon a bed of languishing.

Cast this burden upon the Lord, and be assured that the blood of Jesus has already secured every needful good for those who are in Him. I will join my prayers with yours that the Great Physician will visit your home, and that you may soon rejoice in His restoring touch. But whether in health or in sickness, in life or in death, they are the Lord’s, and the blood of the covenant shall never lose its power. Press on believing, and let your soul stay itself upon that finished work wherein all our hope lies. Farewell.

Your plea for your parents' health reaches the ears of the church, and we join our supplications with yours. Yet consider that the body’s ailments, though they trouble us, are but a shadow compared to the soul’s condition. The Lord permits such trials not to destroy but to draw us nearer to Him, as the apostle knew when he said, “To depart and be with Christ is far better.” Do not then despair, but lift up your heart in hope, for Christ who healed the servant’s ear and cured the afflicted still works mightily through prayer.

For your mother, burdened by diabetes and the fungus in her lungs: entrust her to the care of the great Physician. Let her not only seek remedies of earth, but chiefly the medicine of repentance and thanksgiving. The same Lord who brought light to those in darkness can restore her breath and purify her flesh. But remember, the wisdom that heals the soul often chooses dimness over glare; in suffering, the eyes of faith grow keener. Pray without ceasing, and summon the elders to anoint her with oil in the name of the Lord, for the prayer of faith shall save the sick.

For your father, whose sight fails, head throbs, and limbs swell, and whose blood surges with pressure and water troubles him: we ask the God of all mercy to grant relief. Yet I would stir you to a higher care. If we neglect the soul while mending the body, what gain is it? The evil one whispers that amendment is impossible, but Christ shows us otherwise. He still commands the stormy humors to be still. Let your father, even in pain, fix his longing on things above, where there is no sickness. His outer nature wastes away, but the inner nature may be renewed day by day.

Above all, do not grieve as those without hope. These afflictions are not by chance but by God’s own dispensation for your growth in holiness. If He permits them, He will also give strength to endure, and perhaps removal. Whether He heals or not, cling to the conviction that His tenderness surpasses any earthly father’s. I pour out my heart for you both, not with fleshly affection alone, but in the bowels of Christ, which warm us to love one another. Persevere in holiness, avoid every sin, and let your love abound yet more in knowledge. In this way, even these present sorrows will bear fruit unto righteousness, and the day of Christ will find you sincere and without offense, to the glory of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I join you in carrying these burdens for your mother and father. It is a heavy thing to watch those who gave you life now struggle with their own health, and my heart goes out to you. The sorrows of this fallen world touch every family, yet the God of Israel remains the God who hears and the God who heals.

Your mother is dealing with diabetes and a fungal infection deep in her lungs. Your father faces a whole list of troubles: his eyesight, headaches, urinary issues, swelling in his feet, blood pressure, and the simple need for overall strength. That is a lot for any household to bear. It reminds me of a man in Scripture whose very name meant “sorrow.” His mother named him that because of the pain she endured bringing him into the world. But Jabez did something remarkable. He cried out to the God of Israel and said, in essence, “Lord, bless me indeed. Enlarge my borders. Keep Your hand with me and keep me from evil.” And God granted what he asked. I think there is a model here for how we approach the Father right now on behalf of your parents. We can ask Him to bless them indeed with healing and restoration. We can ask Him to enlarge the boundaries of their health, pushing back the sickness and the pain. We can plead for His own hand to be upon them, guarding them from further infection, from complications, from every evil that wants to settle in.

There is power in the name that is above every name. When Jesus walked the earth, demons fled, fevers broke, and the lame leaped up because of His authority. After He ascended, His disciples continued that same work. Peter, when questioned about a man healed at the temple gate, was clear: it was by the name of Jesus, the Messiah, that the man stood before them whole. The Hebrew name behind that is Yeshua, which means Jehovah is salvation. So as you pray, you are not throwing words into an empty sky. You are calling on the living God who wrapped Himself in human flesh to bear our griefs and carry our sorrows. Speak His name over your mother’s lungs. Speak His name over your father’s feet, his eyes, his blood vessels. Ask the Father in secret, not making a noisy display, but resting in the confidence that He sees what is hidden and rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Sometimes, in the mystery of God’s purposes, He allows a different path than the one we would choose. David longed to build a house for the Lord, yet God said no and instead gave that task to his son. David’s heart was right, but God’s plan was higher. In the same way, we cry out for immediate, complete healing, and we know He is able. Yet we also humble ourselves and say, “Your will be done.” That is not a lack of faith; it is the trust of a child who knows the Father is good. Even when the medical reports look grim and the burden is long, the God who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ will not abandon your parents or you. He is the one who keeps His promises to a thousand generations.

So let us press in together. I am asking the Lord to touch your mother’s blood sugar and clear the infection from her lungs. I am asking Him to restore your father’s eyesight, to take away the headaches, to heal the urinary tract, to bring the swelling down, and to stabilize his blood pressure. Above all, I am asking for them both to know the deep peace and presence of Jesus, who is their true health and strength. Keep bringing them before the throne. The God who raised up Joshua to lead the people out of the wilderness and into the land is the same God who goes before you now. Look to Him, and do not be content to stay in the wilderness when He is calling you to cross the Jordan into His rest.
