Humble Servant of All
1. for my mother, she is diabetic and having fungal infection in the lungs.
2. for my father's eyesight to improve, headache, urinary tract problems, feet swelling, blood pressure problems to go away and for good health.

We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of concern you carry for their health. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand in the gap for them, believing in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Great Physician.

For your mother, battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for complete restoration. Father, we ask You to strengthen her body and fight off this infection. Your Word declares, "He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We claim this promise over her life. Guide the hands of her medical caregivers, grant them wisdom, and let every treatment be effective. Help her to manage her diabetes with discipline and grace, trusting in Your provision for her health.

For your father, we pray for his eyesight to be restored and for every ailment to flee. Lord, we ask that the headaches, urinary tract problems, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure issues be healed by Your mighty power. "By His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We declare this truth over his body, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Give him strength and comfort, and let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that seeks to linger in their bodies. In the name of Jesus, we command every disease, infection, and ailment to leave their bodies now. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and we stand on that truth, declaring that sickness has no place in their lives.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord on their behalf, trusting in His perfect will. Remember, "The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). Keep faith alive in your heart, and do not grow weary in praying for them. Lean on the Lord for strength and comfort during this time.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. We ask that You touch our dear sister’s parents with Your healing hands. Pour out Your mercy and grace upon them, Lord. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are their healer. We ask for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, and we pray for patience and peace for their family as they wait on You. Strengthen their bodies, Lord, and let every organ, every cell, and every function work in perfect harmony as You designed. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we trust in Your plan for their lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that by His stripes, they are healed. Amen.

It weighs heavy on us to carry concern for both your parents at once, your mother’s lungs fighting infection alongside diabetes, and your father navigating so many different symptoms, from his eyesight to that swelling and blood pressure. When several needs pile up, the burden can feel especially lonely, and we want you to know we’re standing with you in it, not just in words but in steady, practical prayer.

One thing we’ve seen is that acts of presence are often as important as the prayers we lift. If you’re able, sitting with your parents during doctor visits or helping them keep track of what the physicians say about the fungal treatment, diabetic management, and your father’s blood pressure can be a concrete way to love them right now. High blood pressure especially is a quiet condition; a good medical team’s guidance is vital, and your encouragement could make a real difference in them sticking with it. It’s not about having all the answers, it’s about walking alongside, ensuring they don’t feel alone in the waiting rooms or in the long management of these things.

We’re praying now:

Father, we lift this mother and father to You. Quiet the infection in her lungs and guard her body against any complications from diabetes. For him, we ask for clear vision, relief from headaches and swelling, healing in his urinary tract, and stabilized blood pressure. Give their doctors insight and compassion. And please strengthen their child, steady their heart, grant them the daily grace to show up, and let them sense Your nearness even in the uncertainty. We trust these precious ones to Your merciful hands, in Jesus’ name.

What a weight upon your heart to see both father and mother laid low with such varied afflictions. The evil one would sift you in this trial, shaking your confidence and clouding the mercy seat with a mist of grief. Yet it is precisely in such seasons that we learn the extreme value of the united prayers of God’s people. The Apostle Paul, mighty as he was, entreated obscure men and women to strive together with him in prayer, knowing that without those pleadings he would be in danger of failure. Your parents are not forgotten before the Throne simply because you are but one humble pleader. The Lord has made prayer the golden key that unlocks His storehouses, and He bids you use it now for these dear souls.

Do not think that because the heavens seem silent or the relief delays, Christ has not answered you a word. Remember that Syrophoenician woman who came crying for her possessed daughter. He answered her not a word at first, and yet she worshiped and pressed her suit with holy importunity. She had not a promise to hang her hopes upon, not a single word from His lips, and still she clung to Him for the blessing. You are in a far better case, for you hold a Book full of His words. Plead them back to Him. Remind Him that your mother’s weakness and your father’s manifold pains are not beyond the reach of that precious blood which speaks better things for us. He who opened the Kingdom to all believers has power over lungs and eyesight, over feet and blood, and He does not lose a single case committed to His care.

Look back, too, upon former mercies. Has the Lord been favorable to your household in days past? Did He not carry you through deep waters before? Then cry with the Psalmist, “Will You not revive us again?” The same hand that delivered can heal, and He often works fresh deliverance in answer to believing expectation. Daniel set his face toward the Lord for his scattered people, and you may do the same for your parents, pleading the comprehensive prayer: “Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up.” Pray that the Great Shepherd would feed them with strength, lift them from these beds of languishing, and show the light of His countenance upon them.

I beseech you, let this trial drive you not to a solitary complaint but to the assembling of the saints in supplication. Ask some faithful Brothers and Sisters to help together by prayer for your father and mother. It is the means appointed for obtaining the gift of healing and sustaining grace, and God will have all the glory when the answer comes. Above all, fix your hope not on amended symptoms first and foremost, but upon the living Intercessor who has gone within the veil. He prayed for Peter that his faith should not fail when Satan sought to sift him, and He prays for all His own still. Cast this double burden upon that mighty High Priest who is the saving strength of His anointed. He knows your father and mother perfectly, He loves them more than you can conceive, and He will do right. Wait upon Him with a holy stubbornness that will not let Him go until He blesses you.

I see your care for your parents, and in this you honor the commandment: “Honor thy father and thy mother, that thou mayest live long upon the earth.” It is a mark of a grateful and natural affection to seek their health and relief. But remember that teachers and all need mercy, as the Apostle Paul had such anxiety for Timothy that he gave him directions concerning his bodily health, saying, “Use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake, and thine often infirmities.” So while you seek the medicines of physicians, do not neglect the Fountain of mercy. Our Lord shows His tender care, as a hen gathers her chickens, though we often scatter ourselves by our sins. Call upon the name of the Lord for your parents, for whosoever shall call upon Him shall be saved. He who reconciled us to God through the blood of His cross is able to bring peace to troubled bodies as well. Let their afflictions draw them not into thanklessness, but into deeper trust. For the unthankful man is without natural affection, but you, by your prayer, show that love which is of God. Persevere in calling upon Him, and He will give answer according to His mercy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
