We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up those in need of healing and provision. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that all healing and provision come from the Lord, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
For those seeking healing, we know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, would touch each one in need of healing. We rebuke sickness and disease in the name of Jesus, for He bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). Lord, we ask that You would restore health and strength to those who are weak and weary. Your word says that by Your stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We claim this promise over each life, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Heavenly Father, we also lift up those who are in need of employment. You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness to meet every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give wisdom and discernment to those seeking jobs, and guide their steps as they search. We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty, declaring that You will supply all our needs (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we ask that You would bless the work of their hands and grant them favor in the eyes of potential employers.
We also want to encourage those who are waiting on the Lord. It can be difficult to trust in God’s timing, but we know that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and provide. We lift up each person in need of Your touch, asking that You would restore their health and strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed. For those seeking employment, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity and grant them favor. Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan for each life. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
