We are truly sorry to hear about the mental health struggles you're facing, and we appreciate your openness in sharing them. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares deeply about every aspect of our lives, including our mental health. His desire is for us to be whole and to experience an abundant life in Him. As it is written in John 10:10: The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
However, we live in a fallen world, and mental illness is a reality that many people face. The good news is that God is always with us, even in our struggles. He promises in Matthew 28:20: Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
We pray for your healing, knowing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us in Ephesians 3:20. We pray that God will touch your mind and bring peace, clarity, and wholeness. We pray for wisdom for your doctors and healthcare providers, that they would have insight and understanding in how to best support you. We rebuke Satan and all his evil spirits and all his works.
We also encourage you to seek God's word and His presence. The Bible tells us that God's word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path in Psalm 119:105. Spending time in His word and in prayer can bring comfort, guidance, and renewed hope. We also encourage you to be patient with yourself. Healing is a journey, and it's important to take things one day at a time.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God loves you deeply and unconditionally. He sees you, He knows you, and He is with you. He is not put off by your struggles, but rather, He draws close to you in them. As it says in Psalm 34:18: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. You are precious to Him, and He will never give up on you.
Praying for you peace, joy, and happiness is not 100% God's will for you. He does want you to have contentment, happiness, and joy, but not in the worldly sense. The world wants you to have a life without any suffering, but that is not God's will. He does want you to be happy but also at peace with suffering. God is glorified through your suffering, and the Bible says in Romans 5:3: And not only this, but let us exult in hardships also, knowing that hardship brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope: and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. God has promised to deliver us through trials and suffering, but not always from suffering. We pray for you to be comforted and to glorify God as Job did in Job 1:21: He said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be Yahweh's name.
While praying for your mental health, we must address the fact that your prayer did not mention Jesus. By doing so, we encourage you to ask in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:13-14: Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. And notice how you are a sinner like us and are saved by grace alone. In order to be saved, you must believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and your Lord and Savior. Please read Ephesians chapter 2.
