We join you in lifting up your mother before the throne of grace as she goes to the doctor for her checkup today and we ask together for God's hand of protection, peace, and healing over her.
We take comfort that our God is the Great Physician and that He cares deeply for our bodies as well as our souls. For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 And we remember to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 We pray that the Lord will grant wisdom and discernment to the doctors and nurses who care for her, steady her heart and calm any anxiety, and that the results of every test and examination would be favorable and show good health. We ask that In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 would be very real for both your mother and you today.
We also want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why this is so important, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 When we pray in Jesus' name we are coming to God not on our own merit but on the merit of His Son who died for our sins and rose again. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and to bring every need to the Father through Him.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to You. We ask that You would be with her at this checkup, guide the hands and minds of the medical staff, let every measurement and test be accurate and encouraging, and grant her continued health and strength. We pray You would remove fear and fill her and her family with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. We ask for Your healing power to rest upon her and for Your will to be done in her life for Your glory. We thank You for hearing us because we ask in the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

We join you in prayer today for your dear mother as she goes to the doctor for her checkup, and we ask the Lord to grant you both His perfect peace in this hour.
We are reminded of the word of the prophet, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. May your mind be stayed upon Christ today, and may your mother know that whisper of peace within which the blood of Jesus gives, even when cares and duties press around us. To do the will of Jesus and to rest in His keeping is true rest, and in that keeping we and our loved ones are safe.
We bring your mother before the great Physician, of whom it is written that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. There is no healing herb but the one plant of renown, and no sacred fountain but that which was opened on Calvary. Christ Himself is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and there is abundance of healing power in Him. We pray that His gracious hand would be upon the physician, giving wisdom and carefulness, and upon your mother, granting health and strength according to His good will.
We ask the Lord to let all go well, as far as it may please Him, and to let His presence be felt in the waiting room and in the examination. If there be any infirmity, may the Lord in mercy touch and restore, for with His stripes we are healed, and He still lays His hands upon His people to restore them. And whatever the report may be, may you be kept from that anxiety which unfits us to meet our difficulty, and instead be kept in that peace which passes all understanding.
May the Lord bless your mother and keep her, and may He keep you also in perfect peace as you trust in Him. We commend her to His tender care, praying that He will grant a favorable report and continued health, and that you both may rejoice in His goodness.
