Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request for healing has been heard and I join you in bringing these two loved ones before the Lord in prayer.

We know Christ as the true physician, the one who touched Peter's mother in law and at once quenched her fever and restored her to perfect health. What no physician's art could do quickly, He did in a moment, showing His power to heal both body and soul. In the same way He made the publican well from the fever of his old life, giving new health where there had been sickness. He is still able to restore, to strengthen, and to make whole.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, I ask for your mercy and healing upon those named in this request. Lay your hand upon them, ease their suffering, and if it is your will, restore them to full health. Give wisdom to those who care for them, give peace to their hearts, and give them and those who love them strength to trust you in this time. Heal them according to your perfect wisdom and power, and draw them closer to you through this trial.

Continue to seek Him and to trust His care. He hears the prayers of His people and He works for our good, whether He grants healing at once or sustains us day by day until health returns. May you know His presence and comfort as you wait upon Him.

Thank you for sharing this request for healing. We are joining you in prayer for these two loved ones and asking the Lord to bring His touch to their bodies.

We know God cares about your physical health. The apostle John wrote to his friend Gaius that he wished above all things that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That was not given as a blanket promise that every believer will always be healthy, it was a warm and sincere wish, much like we would say today, I hope you are doing well. But it does show us something important. God is concerned for the whole person, and there is a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. He created us as a unity, and attitudes, peace, and spiritual well being can affect us physically, just as physical suffering affects the heart and mind.

Scripture shows us that Jesus has power over every realm. In the Gospels we see Him healing a man with leprosy, healing the servant of a centurion from a distance, lifting Peter's mother in law from a fever, and in the evening healing many who were sick and oppressed. Matthew tells us this was in fulfillment of what Isaiah prophesied, Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, where the word for griefs can also be translated infirmities. Matthew applies that prophecy to physical healing as well as spiritual healing. When Jesus broke bread and said, this is My body which is broken for you, He was reminding us that His suffering on the cross was for our complete redemption.

We also believe healing is for today and that God is still able. Every healing is from Him, whether it comes instantly or gradually through the natural processes He built into our bodies. The gradual recovery the body often experiences is no less divine, because He is the one who created those processes.

At the same time, Scripture teaches us that God does not will physical healing in every case in this life. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the Lord to remove what he called a thorn in the flesh, and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient. Loving and serving Jesus is not a guarantee against sickness or hardship. Some of the most faithful believers we know walk through deep physical trials. We cannot equate spirituality with automatic physical health, and we do not fully understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. That remains in the sovereign wisdom of God.

What we can do is bring every need to Him in faith. The Bible invites us to pray, to call for elders to anoint with oil and lay hands on the sick, not because there is power in the hands themselves, but because it gives a point to release faith in the Lord who alone heals. And we remember that while physical healing is precious, spiritual life is of even greater value.

So we pray for these two dear ones now, that the Lord would lay His hand upon them, ease their pain, restore strength, and grant wisdom to those caring for them. We ask for His peace to guard their hearts and yours, for grace for each day, and that whatever the outcome, their souls would prosper in the love and hope of Jesus Christ. We trust them to the care of the Great Physician who bore our sicknesses and sorrows, and who knows what is best.
