Father, we humble ourselves as we thank and praise You for Your workings, Ps 100:1-4, and yet ask for still more grace, James 4:6, to share The Word with these figures as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they (and we) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Kindly ask Healing at Present: Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13: (hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan). In Jesus' Name we collectively rebuke sickness over matriarchal, Luke 4:39, and restrain evil people and the evil one from each, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word of Christ richly dwell within us, Col 3:6, spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1 and become flesh, John 1:14. Help us receive FRESH TRUTHS day after day and night after night, Ps 19:1-2, Prov 2:6, and retain the Word, Ps 119:11, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16, and our minds prepared for battle, 1 Peter 1:13. We lift our hearts together in unity, giving thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness and grace, which He so richly pours out upon His children. Your prayer for health, spiritual growth, and the honoring of patriarchal and matriarchal figures resonates deeply with us, for Scripture commands us to honor our fathers and mothers so that it may go well with us and that we may live long in the land (Ephesians 6:2-3). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the Lord is our Healer (Exodus 15:26) and the One who supplies every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). We rebuke every form of sickness, disease, and infirmity that seeks to afflict our patriarchs and matriarchs, for by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We command every spirit of infirmity to leave in Jesus’ name, just as Jesus rebuked the fever in Peter’s mother-in-law, and she was healed at once (Luke 4:39). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every evil plan of the enemy, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of their understanding, that they may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18). Strengthen them by Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, and that they may be rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Grant them the grace to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), moving from milk to solid food, so they may discern good from evil (Hebrews 5:12-14). Let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16), and may they bear the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We pray for renewed minds, that they may be transformed by the renewing of their understanding, proving what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Wash them with the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26), and let Your Word spread rapidly and be glorified in their lives (2 Thessalonians 3:1). May they crave the pure milk of the Word, that they may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2), and may they hide Your Word in their hearts, that they might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11).

Father, we ask that You would grant them emotional, spiritual, and physical health, even as their souls prosper (3 John 1:2). Provide for all their temporal needs, for You know what they require before they ask (Matthew 6:8). Deliver them from every evil work and preserve them for Your heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18). Let peace reign within their homes, and may they dwell in safety (Psalm 122:7). Keep them from the evil one, for You have not taken them out of the world, but You have kept them from the evil one (John 17:15).

We declare that they will be fruitful in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). May they abide in Christ, and may His words abide in them, so that whatever they ask will be done for them (John 15:7). Let their joy be full as they walk in obedience to Your Word (John 15:11). We pray that they would make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). May they bear much fruit, so that the Father may be glorified (John 15:8).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

It is moving to see how you carry these elders before the Lord, not only their health, but their spiritual flourishing and your own. We join you in that. While we pray, we also want to gently encourage what honors them in the everyday: a call, a visit, a shared meal, simply sitting and letting them know they are seen and loved. That kind of love often unlocks healing in ways we do not fully understand.

Because you asked specifically for healing from sickness, we would also urge you to make sure they have wise medical attention. Scripture calls us to prayer, and the same Spirit who gifts healers works through trained doctors and nurses. We are not to choose between prayer and competent care; both can be gifts of God’s mercy.

You asked for renewed minds and fresh truth day by day. We have found that transformation rarely comes in a single moment. More often God reshapes us bit by bit, through a psalm that quietly lodges in our thoughts, a moment of yieldedness when no one is watching, a simple choice to trust when we cannot see. So do not be discouraged if the change feels slow. The One who began this work in you and in those you love is faithful to complete it.

May the God who formed these patriarchs and matriarchs hold them now in steady, restoring grace. Where there is pain or disease, we ask for your hand of healing, in the way only you know is best. Surround them with peace that outlasts fear, and give them strength for each day. Deepen in them, and in us, a hunger for your Word and a quiet confidence that does not depend on feelings. And teach us to honor them not only in prayer, but in the patience and practical kindness love always calls us to. In Jesus’ name we pray.

The prayer you have poured out is saturated with Scripture, a sweet-smelling sacrifice of faith that rises as incense before the throne. You seek health, renewed minds, the honoring of parents, deliverance from the evil one, these are large petitions, yet they are precisely what our heavenly Father loves to grant to those who walk in His ways.

Do not imagine for a moment that His ear is shut, or that His arm is slack to save. The deliverance you ask for is no small thing, it is the very work of God, as when He brought Israel out of Egypt with a high hand and an outstretched arm. None went limping; there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Such is the wholeness He gives to those He redeems. And as with the material, so with the spiritual: the healing balm is found in one place alone. There grows no healing herb but that one plant of renown, Jesus Christ the Righteous. His leaves, the least things about Him, the smallest promise, the faintest touch of His grace, are for the healing of the nations. To Him you must look, and looking, live.

You have written much of the Word, and this is well. Healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching. The two go together: renewal of mind and the Spirit’s healing come by the Word. Crave that sincere milk, and you shall grow. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, and you will find that it is not only food but medicine. The Lord has found a ransom; the Lamb has been slain. Therefore the captive must go free, sin’s power must be broken, and the prince of this world must yield his prey. Your deliverance from the pit is already accomplished in the eternal purpose of God; the ransom price is paid. Only believe, and you shall see the salvation of God.

I would not have you think that afflictions are strangers to saints. The Lord does chasten sorely, but it is that we may not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Sickness has often been the road to deeper health, loss to greater gain. Unbroken prosperity might be a sign of being given over unto death, but His fatherly strokes are tokens of His love. He bruises the flesh to restore the soul. So accept whatever He sends with patient hope. The Sun of Righteousness has risen, and in His wings there is healing for every disease of body and soul. Pardon and healing are one in His hand.

Go forward, then, in the strength of the Lord, honoring father and mother, and seeking that renewed mind which is your reasonable service. Be effectual doers of the Word, and you shall prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. The power of darkness is broken, for He has translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son. Let your joy be full as you abide in Him, and He in you. Pray on, for the Lord is near. Amen.

Your prayer overflows with many words, with verses heaped upon verses, as if the mere recitation of Scripture might compel the ear of God. Yet the Lord does not look upon the multitude of syllables but upon the contrite heart. “The fruit of our lips giving thanks to His Name” is a sacrifice well pleasing to Him only when it arises from a mind bowed low, not when it is sent forth by lips that are loud but hands that are idle. I rejoice that you desire the health and prosperity of your parents according to the soul, that you pray for a renewed mind, and that you ask for growth in the knowledge of Christ. These are good things. But beware lest, like the Pharisees of old, you honor them with words while your deeds make the commandment of God of none effect.

Christ spoke plainly: “Honor thy father and thy mother, that thou mayest live long upon the earth.” And again, “He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.” You pray for grace to honor these patriarchal and matriarchal figures. That is well. But hear how the Lord rebuked those who under a pretense of piety taught men to say to their parents, “This thing you might have received from me is a gift dedicated to God,” and so they both defrauded their parents and insulted God. True honor is not a matter of saying “be warmed and filled” while withholding the sheep or the calf they need. It reaches forth the hand. It provides for their bodily needs with cheerfulness, for as the Apostle says, “with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Do not, then, let your prayers become a cloak for neglect. If your mother or father lacks bread, do not think you have honored them by quoting the Psalms over them. Feed them; protect them; bear with their weaknesses. This is the sacrifice that rises as a sweet savor before the Father through the Son.

You ask for a renewed mind, that you may prove what is the will of God. This renewal is no slight movement of the intellect but a transformation of the whole man. To be renewed “in the spirit of your mind” means that the Spirit takes that which had grown old and makes it new, so that the same mind that once crawled upon the earth now sets its affection on things above. But mark this: whosoever has the Spirit will perform no old deed, for the Spirit will not endure old deeds. If you would have the mind of Christ, you must put off anger, envy, love of praise, the anxious cares of this life. Many love in mind, yet reach not forth the hand; many wish for purity but will not flee the occasions of sin. You must not only pray for a renewed mind but also wage war against every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. For the eye of the mind sees clearly only when the will is set upon holy things. As the Lord said to His disciples, “Blessed are your eyes, for they see,” not meaning the bodily sense but the understanding that comes from a right choice. So lay aside the old man with his lusts, and let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, not as a visitor but as the Master of the house.

Concerning your pleas for healing and deliverance from the evil one, we do well to ask, yet we must also walk as children of light. It is a small thing to have the body healed if the soul lies sick with pride or covetousness. You pray “deliver us from evil.” Then do not run to meet it; do not linger at the door of temptation. As there is Christ, so there is Satan; here cheerfulness, there anxious care; here sobriety, there drunkenness. Bearing all these things in mind, stay the evil at its beginning. Flee from the vain pomp of the world, from the theaters and the empty chatter that corrupt good manners. If you would be kept from the evil one, keep yourself from every appearance of evil, and let your manner of life be such that the enemy finds no foothold.

You ask that the Word might become flesh in you, that you might receive fresh truths day after day. This is a noble desire, but remember that the soil must be prepared. The sower sows upon the rock, the thorns, the good ground. One part is not sufficient for our salvation; there is required first a careful hearing, then continual recollection, then fortitude, then contempt of riches, and deliverance from all worldly things. Be not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work. It is easy to say “Lord, Lord,” and to multiply Scripture upon Scripture, but the man who does the will of the Father is he who shall enter the kingdom. Therefore let your asking be matched by your striving, your praying by your obeying. Count others better than yourself, not only in word but in sincere lowliness of mind, for this is the root of all love and the bond of peace.

Finally, you have asked for blessing and honor to be heaped upon those you call patriarchal and matriarchal figures. But consider whence true honor comes. The honor that is from men they themselves slighted if they love the praise of God more than the praise of men; how then shall they seek it? Let your prayer be that they may be counted worthy to stand before the Son, that they may receive the honor which comes from Him alone, the unfading crown of righteousness. And as for you, see that you do not seek your own glory under the appearance of honoring them. For what is exalted among men is often an abomination before God.

Walk therefore in the way of the Lord with trembling and joy. Let your prayers be the outward sign of a heart that has already offered itself a living sacrifice. Then shall the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. And may you, with all those for whom you pray, be presented blameless before His presence with exceeding joy.

Your prayer rises with a deep longing for wholeness, health in the body, renewal in the mind, honor given to the family roots God has planted, and a life that bears lasting fruit. There is great strength in a request so thoroughly anchored in the Word. It shows the craving of a soul that knows true life and godliness will not be found anywhere else but in what God has breathed out for us. Every passage you have lifted up is more than a good thought; it is God’s own breath, without error and fully able to do its work.

When you pray for the health of those who have been like patriarchs and matriarchs in your life, you are touching a command God has tied directly to a promise. Honoring a father and mother is the first commandment with a blessing attached: that it may go well with you and that you may live long on the earth. This is a foundation stone. Society unravels when this honor unravels. So asking for their immediate healing, their peace, and their deliverance from the evil one is not a small thing. It is standing inside God’s order and laying hold of His very character as the Lord who heals. He does deliver us, though not always in the way we expect. Deliverance is bigger than one kind of miracle. He keeps us from evil works and will preserve us for His heavenly kingdom, whatever the present battle looks like.

That same breath of God you are praying will wash you with truth also works to renew the mind. You asked that the eyes of understanding would be opened and that you would move from milk to solid food. This is the Spirit’s delight. The Scriptures are crafted so they can fasten themselves upon the memory and the heart, giving wisdom to the simple and counsel to the man of understanding. This is where true renewal lies, not in chasing a fleeting emotion, but in the quiet, determined search for wisdom as though hunting for hidden treasure. When you seek understanding with that kind of intensity, you will come to understand the fear of the Lord and you will find the knowledge of God. By wisdom He founded the earth. That same wisdom will establish your steps.

There is also a deep comfort in knowing that every experience, even the long wait for a healing or a breakthrough, is part of God’s preparation. He is not absent from the process. Even in early details we do not always notice, His hand is shaping and training us for the work He has purposed for us to fulfill. What feels like a delay may be the quiet classroom where He is rooting and grounding you in a love so deep that you can truly know the length and width of Christ’s love for you. Let that seed of the Word keep spreading rapidly in your heart. Let it take on flesh in your daily life so that you are not just an effectual hearer but a doer.

As you continue to honor those placed in your life and to crave the pure milk of the Word, do not be shaken when you come to a Scripture you do not yet fully understand. When your mind hits a vanishing point or something seems hard, simply acknowledge that God is right and your understanding is still growing. There are no real contradictions in His Word. The problem is always in our present perception, and humility keeps us pressing in until the light dawns. The promise is sure: with long life He satisfies and shows His salvation. The path of honoring, the path of trusting, the path of renewed thinking, it all leads to the peace He places within your walls and the abiding joy that fills the soul.
